Two words: Audio Machine. Go check them out, guys. They have quite the selection of epic trailer music, and their stuff is featured in pretty much every more...movie trailer that fits the genre. The second song used in this video was from the trailer for Hancock, which I saw recently, and said hey, that song owns everything. So yes. Audio Machine. Very good stuff. And a very special thanks to RiKanSolja1 for sending me the song. As great as Audio Machine's music is, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find.
So I know I said I was done with trailers for now, but come on, these songs wouldn't have it any other way. I hope you'll forgive me. It's finally dawning on me that the SERIES FINALE of this great program is ending in just over 3 weeks. Cue trailer inspiration!

Yeah, so I totally made this in a day. How about that! I guess I can't say it took be 20+ hours now, cuz it didn't. more...I even went out to lunch and saw a movie... and yet here it is, completed on my computer and just asking to be uploaded. Your wish is my command, oh computer lord.
So, Boiling Rock pts. 1 and 2 pretty much rule all. I absolutely loved them... so unexpected!! But amazingly cool! Mai is clearly the woman of the hour, hence why she gets the final shot and production still. I've always liked her, but she just jumped up 10 Raven points in my book. Geez. Still can't quite believe the end of that episode...
I know I only introduced 4 characters in this one, but the music only allowed for 4. But really, when you think about this episode, which 4 characters first come to mind? I rest my case.
But yeah guys, BUY THE DVD ON MAY 6TH! For real! Avatar seriously needs our support here. Why else would Nick sell a DVD with unaired episodes? IT'S A TEST. It's a marketing strategy that could make or break the possibility of future Avatar seasons and the live action movie in 2010. For all that is good and holy, BUY THE DVD. Buy 2 DVDs. Just help out the cause, because with this most recent leak Avatar sure does need it.

Believe it or not, I bought this song in hopes of making a Zuko tribute with it. Instead, it somehow more...morphed into a trailer.
Basically, it's a crash-course/season 3.5 trailer of Avatar. Because my family has recently taken an interest in what I do, I've been making trailers in a feeble attempt to teach them about Avatar. I think this one certainly does a better job of that than the Back From Hiatus Trailer.
I started this video last Monday, after watching the credit sequence of the movie "Rendition." I thought it was cool and I wanted to try it out; you'll see the similarity in the way I show "Avatar The Last Airbender" at the end. But mostly, this video exists because the Corner Stone Cues finally put out another CD, which rocks if I do say so myself. I bought the whole thing and was instantly drawn to Frigga. The rest is history. Very recent history.

It followed me everywhere, it drove to school with me, it ate lunch with me, it haunted my dreams!!! So, I figured, might as well finish it. I think it's pretty cool. Although, the song is eerily similar to one Shockerz used in his series fan trailer... but I'm 99.4% sure they're completely separate songs. We'll call it payback for the request he made that almost killed me. ; )

Today marks the one year anniversary since I uploaded my very first Avatar music video. It took 7 days to acquire one comment on that video, and another more...7 days for a second. People have since commented numerous times, often with phrases like "From humble beginnings the great do rise," which can be taken two ways in my mind.
I have many reasons for choosing this song. You may be familiar with an AMV to the same song by FancyClancy, a video I credit as my one greatest inspiration for making Avatar videos. I figured it was time I returned to the source of my newfound passion.

How much awesomeness can I fit into under two minutes of screentime? Quite a bit actually.
This is me getting psyched up for September and a whole new season of awesome, by compiling clips of everything I love about Avatar, the action, the emotion, the passion!! Unfortunately, due to time constaints to finish and upload this video, I had to steal the song from a very good friend of mine, brilliantlygreen, whose Avatar Preview video completely inspired this one.
And, as an added bonus, after watching both seasons over again with my friend (who is now addicted, ha!), I found a whole bunch of awesome clips I previously forgot about! Woo! And I thought I'd put some cool Jet clips in this too, since he really deserves it, after all the times I've showed him getting completely pwned by Katara...
Also, I'm very sorry for the lack of original effects in this one. I was a slave to the beat of the song, and if I added effects to each of those hits like I wanted to, it would be over before you could recognize what the clip was showing. Still, I planned to lower the effect-o-meter a little on this one anyway, since I wanted to emphasize the untainted brilliance of Avatar. Kinda failed at the no-effect thing, but ya know... there's only so much I can take.
This will be my last video until well into season 3, Avatarians, unless I get such a dawning of inspiration that it just can't wait. But, until then...

...My best work to date.
So a few weeks ago I was digging through my DVD collection and I found a movie I used to love... Kill Bill Vol. 1. So, just more...for the heck of it, I put it in, and in that movie, I found the perfect song.
Now, this was originally going to be a cool trailer thing for Avatar, but then I realized that Kill Bill really emphasizes its strong female characters, so I figured I'd do the same in my video. I would have included Mai and Ty Lee but this song operates in threes (how convenient!). So, it became Katara, Toph, and Azula, the daughters of the elements. All three are bending masters, possibly THE bending masters for their element (at least for their age group). And you just don't see many videos made for those three girls alone.
Oh, and the whole "red-stripe-with-an-eye-in-it" thing was inspired by the credits of "V for Vendetta", which I saw a while ago and I've been wanting to make a video where I could use it ever since. And the slight frame freezes after a hit were meant to be a slight tribute to Martin Scorsese's "Goodfellas", but the song is too short to hold the video in one spot for more than a fraction of a second, so... that effect may have been lost.
...I like movies.
