General Biking! Avoiding the theatre when I'm not working on a show. Sounds. My heart beating. Thinking about my next tattoo. Mexican Jumping Beans. Sushi. The people I love. Words. My mother's menudo. Laughing my ass off. The smell of rain. Cigars. They way the skin tingles after a shower. Eating well. Vodka more...Martinis.

Reading more. Extremely hot soup. The sun on my bare torso. Edamame. Connecting. Bald men. Women with awesome legs. Halloween. People who smile with their eyes. Dolmas. Art that is life-altering. Coffee that's "Black as the moon on a moonless night." less | My Tunes Being a sound guy, I dig it all. Really like Regina Spektor, Nyman, Moby, Rollins Band, Loreena McKennit, Chopin, Drugstore, Julee Cruise, The Streets, Glass, and Jinx Titanic. My current love is Glen Hansard (aka my male music soulmate.) | My Movies David Lynch's Inland Empire, Hot Fuzz, 12 Angry Men, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Session 9, Shaun of the Dead, The Fog (1980) Women in Love, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Svankmajer's Faust, Auntie Mame, Broadcast News, The Haunting (1963), Die Hard, Manos Hands of Fate, Donnie Darko, The Innocents, Kieslowski's more...Three Colors Trilogy (Blue / White / Red), Once, Million Dollar Baby, Sideways, Fight Club, Orlando, and M (1931). less | Love to Read Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quintet still continues to awe and inspire. Now that she has passed on, I hope she gets to see and experience all of the cosmos and heavens in the way she wrote about.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was a revelation. I was moved and enthralled and satisfied. Completely more...worth the seven book, 10 year journey.
I'm into C.S. Lewis' The Narnia Chronicles. Also a big Sherlock Holmes fan. Really dig the plays of Sam Shepard. And you can't go wrong with the lean-mean career of JD Salinger.
Love The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Was by Geoff Ryman is a headfuck. You're missing out if you've never read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. Always up for The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Finally, as far a THE MAN goes, you can look no further than William Shakespeare's The Tempest and The Tragedy of Macbeth. They are two perfect stories, told perfectly. less | |

I fear deep-tissue massages. I dig cats. I like to keep my feet as bare as possible. I think green. (I'm just a big old hippie in the heart, I guess.) My friends and my family walk on equal ground. I believe myself to be lucky as hell to have a small, close circle of friends that have become my second family.
Creating gets me off. Love to be challenged by new tasks and forms of expression. And Art, any kind of Art, seriously grooves my ass.
