Loki talks about his vet visit. Update: Loki's lump picked this week after two months of growth to turn from hard to squishy after the initial diagnosis more...by the vet, so after disinfecting his fur and shaving part of his leg and performing some kidney and liver tests and sticking a needle in the lumpy part andscaring us half to death they called and offered the option to postpone the surgery for a week to try antibiotics first. We chose to give him the antibiotics because there's no reason to put someone under and cut them open if it might turn out there's no reason to put someone under and cut them open.
So he has some more blood tests to go through and more fasting and a humiliating round of medications, but we're keeping our hopes up that the initial diagnosis was off.
Also, they drew on him in magic marker which he was not too pleased about. less
