The word Tevet comes from a root word that means: good, "tov"
These months in this fourth season are: Tevet, Shevat, Adar.
The Hebrew letter Yod brings in the "good" month of Tevet, and begins the fourth season of the year called winter. more...Tevet on the Jewish calendar is the "Yod," which stands for the Hand of G-d.
