 | | "Orphic, *****!" | It was the spring of 2005 and Farragut High school, located in the Southside of Chicago, was hosting their annual ‘Student Talent Show.’ Vocalists Hugo Roman was currently jamming out with a group of friends and once he heard of the talent show, his interest to perform ignited. However, his friends were not interested. Hugo wanted to perform, but with who?
He began to talk with Pepe, a friend of his who played the guitar, about the talent show. Pepe agreed and soon he was on his way to Hugo’s house to show him a riff he created. Despite the April showers, Pepe arrived there soaked in water ready to work on a song with Hugo. That same day, they created an instrumental song and for the next day Pepe’s solo only completed their work.
