Voller Witz und Energie tanzten Yamato – The Drummers of Japan 2006 in einem atemberaubenden Mix aus Archaik und Moderne über die Bühnen Europas. Wo immer die phänomenalen Taiko-Performer zu Gast waren, ernteten sie donnernden Applaus.
In Nara, der Geburtsstätte des alten Japan und Heimat der Gruppe, kreierten die Ausnahmekünstler um ihren Gründer Masa Ogawa ein brandneues Theaterereignis, das nun erstmals exklusiv auf den Showbühnen Europas zu erleben ist. Die aktuelle Inszenierung Shin-on – Der Herzschlag verspricht eine Rückkehr zur Uridee von Yamato – The Drummers of Japan: zurück zu DEM einen Schlag der alles ist! Zurück zur tiefen Übereinstimmung von Herzschlag und Trommelschlag, in den die Musiker all ihre Kraft und all ihre Gedanken legen.
