I finally got around to making a vid clip of some of the acts at the 2007 Little Gransden airshow. This is the end of the P51 pair routine where they beat up the airfield - you can hear the glorious howling   more...of the wind in the empty gun ports as they dive and zoom. Other amazing stuff can be seen arriving or getting ready for their turn.A bit like Old Warden, a place near here but I have amazingly enough not yet been to, with the trees etc but it has a unique atmosphere.  less

Radio control aircraft red devil Yak 54

Spitfires and Yak (?) at Duxford - lining up for the airshow several marks of Spitfire and the home P51 and then a Aerostars Yak flies in with a nice victory roll and then we get a glimpse of the Rapide   more...which gives pleasure flights (more of that in a later clip) BTW my very firt flight was in a plane like this. It was about 1980 at Sywell. What a debut, what an experience. Not long after it was the usual succession of air 'buses' various Boeing and Douglas products and the odd Jetranger, glider and F27 etc.  less

This was November 26, 2006. We just took out the hitec 5925 servos out of the ailerons (they were too weak, didn't fully deflect) and put in JR 8611a's to get full throw, now it rolls really fast!   more...haha.  less
