This video is a compilation of footage I shot while recently teaching English in Shanghai. Though the urban cityscapes that often make up much of modern Asian mega cities often seem gray and brooding,   more...I noticed, when going back through the imagery, that almost every frame seemed to be alive with some trace of red, whether in the clothing that people were wearing or the flowers, signs, etc. Peter Gabriel's song Red Rain, therefore seemed a fitting compliment to the hustle, bustle and sometimes frenetic nature of modern inner city life in China.  less
