I’ve always seen the Northern Water Tribe rather like the Native Americans in the film Pocahontas. So since I love the music of the film I decided to make this video from one of my favourite songs - Steady   more...as a Beating Drum.

Combining my favourite show with my favourite song - what could possibly go wrong?

A lot, apparently.

First of all, I realised how difficult it is to fit suitable (major word here) clips from the show into the video. Because in the Northern Water Tribe they don’t give any shots of the food. None.

Then, trying not to hint at shippings - it’s a city video, people! No shippings allowed!

But I think I pulled it off. In a small way. Sort of.

Tell me what you think! I need to know if I’m going right or just going off on a tangent, (I do that a lot).

Also your opinions - entire Pocahontas song collection… Avatar style??? Yes, no, definitely never?

I still ship Zutara. I'm going to keep my head and act mature. It's really hard to read, I know. And Sokka's actual words there were "Okay, who else has to go?" So I worded in a way that made   more...more sense.

I don't own avatar

In my humble opinion, this is the absolute best canon pairing in Avatar. Romantic, sweet, sad, yet ever-lasting. They were doomed from the start, but they will always be together, even if only in their   more...hearts.

My first serious video, done to the song Auf Achse, by Franz Ferdinand. I played with timing and did a few experiments with lipsyncing.

A FEW NOTES:

Scenes that are 'darker' are sorta like memories. The majority of the chorus was meant to be their story playing out, while everything else is kinda like Sokka's 'main' memory towards what happened previously. If that makes any sense.

And I purposefully made the shots of Yue's death last for a very short time. Imo, that happened so fast that Sokka didn't have much time to register what happened, unlike the rest of their story which felt longer.

I hope you guys enjoy this video even -half- as much as I did making it, and please leave any kind of crit! :D

I kept on seeing all these *Zuko* videos to this song and the thought popped into my head to do an Aang version.

The basic plot is that the Water Tribes are throwing Aang out and Katara is finally seeing   more...him for what he really is: *not one of us*.

It is firmly anti-Kataang. Just to let you know :D

And yes, I know it's a slide-show... if any knows how to get Avatar clips, please, send me a message. I'd love to get hold of them and start movie-making in earnest.
