An airshow warbird favourite, the NA B25 Mitchell WW2 bomber - one example that has been restored to flight. Here we see a re-enactment of its mission with the Norden bombsight living up to the 'pickle   more...barrel' accuracy that was theoretically possible if not always when in combat.  less

The good old Dak the plane that will probably outlast us all. Had a ride in one of these yonks ago, superb! This has the amazingly talented Iron Maiden frontman showing off again.

Prepping the two-seat Spitfire at Duxford, odd way to tow a plane but it is a tail-dragger. Whenever you visit Duxford you get a 'free' airshow - one of the many airworthy planes there will be air-tested   more...or returning from an airshow etc. A good mix of old and new too.  less

Dutch Warbird and Scale Meeting, Oss 31 may 2008.

Two greatly contrasting airliners here flying in formation, the tiny-looking Junkers Ju 52 in company with an Airbus. One could suggest this is more than a publicity shot, it demo's the low-speed handling   more...of the Airbus.  less

Very good on the visuals but the narration is all over the place. Here we see some scenes form the Spitfire gathering at IWM Duxford and then an aerobatic routine at Biggin Hill with a Corsair. Interesting   more...contrast in sounds from a mix of Merlin and Griffon engines counterpointed by the PW radial of the Corsair.  less
