Hmm the wind noise is way too much. I could edit it a bit/add some music(though no one probably shares my taste in music), but I want to get engine first, a bit of wind, and obviously be heard if I speak

local journey with improvised camera until PVP is fixed

It's a walkaround of my main bike, done with the ordinary digital camera. I've also a '76 KZ750 which runs when it's in the mood. I mention that I'm to look at both at the start, but that'll be for another   more...vid. I have a habit of making vids, editing, abandoning and eventually not uploading anything. I suppose I could get a sharper production, but this will do for now. I didn't start it up, since the exhaust is standard. I might do a think vid with it running, but those other simple vids give an idea of the sound. I think the loud exhausts can draw unwanted attention. I'll probably get some slip-ons sometime, noise, and crucially easy-on, easy-off, should there ever be some stupid emissions test or suchlike. There are emissions compliant exhausts, but they are pricey, a Remus slip-on, for example. The sound is probably good enough, and a whole system a bit too costly. I'll think about it all, it's certainly cheaper than making a decision.  less

After a second puncture in the past two weeks, a nail on both occasions picked up somewhere, probably because I like to filter along the drain or gutter of the road, space and an obvious escape if things   more...go wrong, I replaced my tyres. The downside is that I risk picking whatever crap is swept to the side of the road. I went with a simple replacement of the existing tyre, a 180/55 18" Dunlop Sportsmax tyre. Why? It was the only 18" in stock anywhere in Dublin for a reasonable price. I go to work on this bike. I rarely if ever drive. A lot of Vrod riders don't like the tyre, but it has given me no cause for complaint. I kept a slow pace. I wanted to scrub in the tyres gently, and the past two weeks of worrying about slow punctures had messed my mind too much. I simply rode along the N81 out of Dublin as far as Blessington, and obviously back. I think this bit of footage starts in Crooksling or somewhere like that. Don't know really.  less

I'm testing the camera - too much wind noise still. Once that's sorted I can post something good. I think I sorted it, not on this one. All it is, is a camcorder strapped on to the bike. I might get something   more...better. It seems inert the way it is now.  less
