To coincide with Veterans Day, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) joined the Ad Council today to launch a new series of national public service advertisements (PSAs) for their Veteran Support   more...Campaign. The national outreach campaign aims to ease the readjustment challenges facing Iraq and Afghanistan veterans as they transition from combat to civilian life. The PSAs encourage new veterans to join IAVA’s online community at www.iava.org, a social network exclusively for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. In the community, veterans can connect with one another, share their experiences, receive advice and support and get access to critical resources and special offers. Launched on Veterans Day 2008, the campaign also includes a complementary series of ads and a website, www.supportyourvet.org, directed at the families and friends of these veterans.

MY TRIBUTE TO VETERANS DAY 2008

A Remembrance Day tribute to those that have fallen and to those that still fight. It is a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war, specifically   more...since the First World War. It is observed on 11 November to recall the end of World War I on that date in 1918. Veterans gather at a yearly detail on Memorial Day to pay homeage to and honour fallen heroes. The veterans gather at the Costa Linda resort on the Beautiful island of Aruba.

Thanks to our troops! Saturday at Avila Beach Golf Course and wonderful event was enjoyed by many whom were lucky enough to get tickets in February, before the event sold out. Of those people a few   more...groups and individuals express their thanks to our Troops & Veterans via video stream. This is one such group of many that give thanks.  less
