This is the third video in a series of seven interviews with foster care alumni. This is Tristen's story. He entered the foster care system at age five. This is an emotionally hard hitting video.

Tristen   more...discuss the massive over-drugging of foster children, the inability to make friends in the foster care system, not having a support system when graduating out of the system, not having a voice while in the system, etc.

He also discussing having witnessed sexual abuse of a 12 year hold foster sister as well as being physically abused himself while in foster care.

Tristen has now decided that he wants to speak out and work towards changing the foster care system so other children that have to go through the system aren't abused.
