Judith had asked for photos of the garden. These are some I took today. Unfortunately, because of all the rain in the last few weeks not only are the plants very "leggy" but the flowers are   more...somewhat the worse for wear.

I picked the last (or what I THOUGHT were the last) of the ripe wild strawberries which have spread across the lawn. Afterwords I mowed and there were hundreds of unpicked ripe ones squashed and mangled across the yard.

The flowers that you see (in no particular order) are Peonies, Explorer Roses, Anemones, Allium seed heads, Chives, Daisies, Mock Orange, Honeysuckle, Evening Primrose buds, Grape vines, and a rare wild Clematis which rooted itself in the garden (not in bloom until the end of the summer).  less
