What is a Geisha?

The word Geisha literally translates to "arts person" or "one trained in arts" (gei = art, sha = person). It is also sometimes described as "women of arts, which   more...is exactly what a Geisha is - a woman trained in the traditional arts of Japan such as dance, music, singing to name a few.
What is a Maiko?

The word Maiko literally translates to "dancing child" (mai = dance, ko = child), but is also referred to as "dancing girl". A Maiko is an apprentice Geisha who must must undergo a period of training that generally takes 5 years, where she learns the various "gei" (arts) such as dancing, singing, music etc before she becomes a Geisha.  less

When someone that has never owned a dog or a cat gets asked this question they always say no or no way! So...

What is the correct answer to this question?

Ask someone who has owned a dog or a cat and they   more...will smile a big smile and say yes, or definitely yes.

I know from personal experience that they do dream, for their legs twitch, and they yowl or growl while they sleep. Several of my dogs even bark quietly as they lay on their sides snoring and passing gas.

They do just about everything people do except read the newspaper on the toilet or drive cars...

Give your pet a hug and smile at them when they ask for attention, you know they deserve it!

Prayer is the greatest need of the soul in us. It is a tremendous power that alone can break all the human chains and bondages. And this somehow is prayer in any of its numerous and profound forms.

Prayer is something that intimately binds us to the vastness, the power, the nature, the grandeur of Godhead. Our prayer should be, if it is to be real, successful, profitable, something that touches the Divine, something that exposes our being to the influence and pressure of the Divine. Every prayer must be a kind of spiritual experience; and, therefore, we have to go to God with a heart full of love, trust, confidence, with a self that is surrendered to His omnipotent and all-loving Will, with a nature that is submitted to His transforming Grace.

Relationships.. and the mere thought of breaking up a relationship in one hot moment.. which can change a persons life and take them down a different path, in a relationship that cannot be mended a person   more...goes thru many emotions, sadness and mourning play a big part of that broken relationship, anger and rage, and in time a healing process begins and we become a better person and learn from that experience. Some people stay in verbal and abusive relationships, to break away is a terrifying journey but to heal and become ta stronger person from that relationship and forgive.. yes forgive (did I say that?) will also set you free.  less
