 | | Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 Riyugu Boss Battle 04:02Another Telefang 2 video! This boss battle is one of the must amusing ones, if only because of one move. The best part of this battle is when Riyugu launches the rocket -- it sends one of your Denjuu more...to another planet! Then he's forced out of the battle and you can't use it for the rest of the battle. The animation is absolutely hilarious so you gotta watch it. I wish Pokémon had moves like that.
Also, worth noting is that Riyugu has some ability that prevents you from using Electric Attacks (not the type, but the powerful ones that deplete your DP meter), making this battle a lot tougher. I used Denjuu with Water-type attacks because Riyugu is Hill-type, which is similar to the Rock-type in Pokémon games. less Tags: keitai denjuu telefang telefang power speed gba natsume smilesoft Category: Video Games Views: 31 Comments: 1 Added: Jun 24, 08 By: Blaziken257 | | | | | Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 Hermit Boss Battles 14:07A series of fights against a bunch of Hermits. This time it's a battle with Demonos. You have to beat him to get past this maze. He is tough, but when you beat him, you get his number (meaning you can use it to battle more...for you) and you also get the ability to push boulders and other things. And you get a new phone, but I don't know what new things it does. Also, Demonos is good to use, too, as he is at a high level when you get him, and can attack well (especially when he's one of the first Denjuu with a rock move).

This time, I'm playing Speed version, and I'm not as far as I am in Power. This is the first rival battle in Telefang 2. In Speed version, the rival's main Denjuu is Gyuun. more...He is a swift Denjuu...
Again, this is an unofficial translation. You may notice that the Speed translation isn't as complete yet as the Power translation; this is because they have to be done separately and the Speed translation was recently started to being worked on. In any case, you can download patches that translate the game here:

I've been meaning to make this video for months. And now it's here! This part continues off from Part 2. Back in Part 2, I had to get a key that Tabasco guarded to open more...up the gate to the next area. So I give the key back to Gumi, he thanks me by giving me some evolution items, and I can go to the next area. It's called Iris, but the bootleg calls it... Alice. Really weird.
At Iris (Alice), you have to go to the bottom and talk to Liriope (Lilioab in the bootleg) and he will ask you to give him a game machine (an item that looks like a Game Boy). Remember that Game Boy I bought way back in Part 1? Well this is why I bought it. If you give it to him, he will give you his phone number to use, and he will give you the ability to <b>walk on water</b> (yes, you walk on water in this game, you don't surf).
Since he gives you his phone number, you can use him in battle. Even though Liriope's stats are atrocious (its attacking capabilities are like Shuckle's and it doesn't have much better defensive capabilities), he isn't far away from you, and he has two really useful moves. Cold Air (Coldgas in the bootleg) freezes the opponent, which in this game severely weakens its defense, and Restore (Resume in the bootleg) recovers HP <i>of a Denjuu of your choice</i>. So it's good for a support Denjuu.
After getting Liriope's number, you will want to go down to Palm Sea (Bamu Sea in the bootleg O_o). Palm Sea has a bunch of Aquatic-type (Lake in bootleg) Denjuu sitting there. If you talk to them, you'll fight them, though this isn't required at all. These never give you their phone numbers, but there are wild Aquatic Denjuu that appear randomly and will sometimes give you their number; this will help a LOT. When you're in Palm Sea (Bamu Sea), you have to find a Mantea. He will help you progress by giving you a password to enter a door back in Iris.
The password is used to enter a house in Iris. You'll talk to a Mantea and warp to a location with a switch. Step on the switch and you'll unlock a gate at the end of Palm Sea necessary to progress.
Then go back to Palm Sea and go all the way. I run around here randomly so I can get a Denjuu that's close by (at this point, the only Denjuu I have that arrives quickly enough is the aforementioned Liriope... the others are at least six turns away so I got another Denjuu that could help me). Now that the switch is pressed, you can enter the door.
You'll encounter your rival for the first time. The Denjuu he has depends on the version. In Power/Diamond, he has Anjiosi, which can debatably be called Andios or Angios. In Speed/Jade, he has Jimunosi, which can debatably be called Demonos or Gymnos. It is interesting to note that both of these appear in Telefang 2 as well.
This battle is difficult in Power Version because Angios's Sky type has a type advantage over Krypto's (Kuribute in bootleg) Forest (Wood)-type.
This battle went better than expected (though the difficulty caused me TONS of restarts): I was lucky and Angios NEVER used a damaging move on Krypto. If it did, it would have likely knocked it out in one hit due to its type advantage. The other Denjuu I used, Lychnis (Liknis) and Liriope (Lilioab), are neutral, which is slightly better. Liriope helped weakening its Defense which made it MUCH easier. I ended up winning. He'll be back later...
After his defeat, he will disappear until later on, and you get to go on to the next area, Freesia (which, in the bootleg, has the very strange name of M-City Virgina, where the M probably stands for all the machines in the city).
---
Also, one more thing: If you saw my previous two videos, you'll notice that this video sounds different (though this isn't much of a surprise if you saw my recent videos of DKL3). I used a different version of VBA for this, which has near perfect sound emulation. So this is what the game SHOULD sound like -- and it's much better! less Tags: keitai denjuu telefang telefang pokemon diamond pokemon jade game boy color nintendo natsume smilesoft Category: Video Games Views: 403 Comments: 2 Added: May 9, 08 By: Blaziken257 | | | | | Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 Easy Dog Boss Battle 05:13Another Telefang 2 video! Here's a video of the boss fight with Easy Dog (really weird name, by the way, but not as weird as "Hat")... This one should be better than the last one because it's more...quicker and I use the more powerful Electric Attacks more often. Even though they have limited use, they're much more powerful!
Again, even though this game was Japanese-exclusive, I'm using a patch that translates part of the game in English. It's currently being worked on, but if you want the patch, here's a link:

This only works on Power, not on Speed, but a Speed patch is being worked on as well.

This is one of my first Telefang 2 videos, and hopefully I will have more of them as time goes on. Even though this game was Japanese-exclusive (sadly), you'll see more...that some of the text is in English. This is because I'm using a patch that is currently in progress. Just note that very little of the dialogue is translated (like in this video). If you want to download the patch yourself (note that this only works in Power version, not Speed), go to this link:

And no, I don't know what the Japanese text says. I can't read Japanese.
As for the battle itself, this was long because one of the rival's Denjuu was a pain in the neck to defeat. Two of them are easy, but Doon isn't. It takes a long time to whittle down his HP, and when it does, the T-Fanger (which is the Telefang equivalent of a trainer) just uses items to heal it (which, by the way, is one of the most annoying things in recent Pokémon games). Of course, to be able to beat him I used Electric Attacks which are powerful but have limited use. I SHOULD have used this halfway during the battle... oh well. I know for next time, I guess... less Tags: keitai denjuu telefang telefang power speed gba natsume smilesoft Category: Video Games Views: 86 Comments: 2 Added: Jan 6, 08 By: Blaziken257 | | | | | Bootleg Pok233mon Diamond Part 2) 23:30A second Telefang video. In case you are wondering, even though this is called "Pokémon Diamond," this is NOT a real Pokémon game, much less the Pokémon Diamond more...for the DS! It's a hack of Telefang. A badly translated hack.
Anyway, in this video, we have just defeated the boss in the Tulunk Water Station, and now the gate to Kelina Village is now unlocked. We must go there. We discover that a key is stolen and must get it. First you have to beat Sokuri. Then, you have to go to Gumi (who swears a lot, by the way) and defeat him. You can get inside the cave now. There are a lot of T-Fangers (people who use Denjuu) and will battle you. Eventually you will get the key and you will make it in the door at the very end. There is one final boss battle until the next part of the game...

This game comes in two versions, Diamond and Jade. It has nothing to do with the Diamond for the DS. It's a hack of Keitai Denjuu Telefang (which also more...came in two versions: Power and Speed), an obscure Japanese RPG. Somebody in China thought it would be a great idea to take the game, bootleg it by doing a really bad translation, and giving it a Pokémon title to convince people that these are rare Pokémon games. As a result people have negative impressions on this game. For more information, go to this link: [<a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telefang target=_blank>Wikipedia article</a>]
The translation is so bad it contains swearing! Thankfully, this video has only one swear word (and it's rather mild), but this game has practically every swear word except the f-word. I don't think the bootlegger(s) even knew that the game has swearing in it... <_<
Due to the Engrish translation, the plot will probably be really confusing. The game starts by the main character, Bek (Shigeki in the authentic Japanese version), accidentally being transported to another world from his phone. This world is full of "electric monsters" (hereon referred to as Denjuu, as that's supposedly what they're supposed to be called according to Wikipedia), and you can use these Denjuu to fight other Denjuu (doesn't this sound a LITTLE bit like Pokémon?) Except instead of Poké Balls, you use... cell phones. The concept of this is actually interesting, though, as you want to call Denjuu that are close by (or else they may get lost).
When arriving to this world, we learn that the village is in trouble due to some water shortage or something. Netaro, the Denjuu in charge of carrying the water, likes to sleep a lot. He is also locked away from his brother Nejiro, due to some people that are obsessed with curry (which tastes really bad, by the way) trying to take advantage of him for something (I don't really know what). I'm not going to spoil anything past this point, so I'll stop here. If you want to see more of this game, though, feel free to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=telefang&search=Search" target=_blank>search for "Telefang" on YouTube.</a>
By the way, if you've ever seen or played this game, you'll notice the font's different in this video. This is because I made a patch (which took me about four hours!) to change the font. I really hated the old font, so that's why I changed it. If you hate the old font as much as I do, <a href=http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T03LRZFE target=_blank>click here!</a> It's an .ips file that changes the font, but you need the ROM for this to work.
By the way, here is a small list of what some of the Engrish quotes mean:
"For the clever opponent, Injure increase!!" = "It's super-effective!" "For the foolish opponent, Injure reduce!!" = "It's not very effective..." "In severe illness!" = "A critical hit!" "Regret, didn't catch!" = "Can't escape!" T-mildew, Mildew-T, Midew-T = T-Fanger (see <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telefang target=_blank>Wikipedia article</a> for more details)
Oh, and apologies for the poor quality -- with a video as long as this, it's inevitable, and it doesn't help that LiveVideo likes to brighten everything. Though, it probably wouldn't look much better on YouTube, not that YouTube allows anything over 10:59 anyway. On the other hand, this video does look a lot better on my hard drive... >_> less Tags: keitai denjuu telefang telefang power speed pokemon diamond pokemon jade bootleg pirate gbc game boy color nintendo smilesoft natsume Category: Video Games Views: 762 Comments: 3 Added: Oct 27, 07 By: Blaziken257 | | | | | Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 Dimerus Boss Battle 07:59After a long hiatus of uploading Telefang 2 videos, I decided to upload another one. This one takes place soon after the last Telefang 2 video I uploaded, where you're stuck in this hideout and cannot more...get out of it until you defeat the boss in this area. This hideout is really long and difficult, because it's an annoying maze, where you can get lost easily, plus there are all these switches that unlock doors in different parts of the hideout. It doesn't help that all these Hermits (the Grassland form) walk around and you have to fight them if they see you. This is the one of the hardest mazes in any game... it's even harder than any maze in the original Telefang... though the maze soon after this boss battle is even more complicated. At least the music in this hideout is awesome, which you can hear at the beginning of this video. If you are curious to what this hideout looks like, or you're stuck here, I took the time to make a map of this place.
<a href="http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/594/tf2hideoutf1fw6.png">Floor 1</a> <a href="http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/7935/tf2hideoutf2sy8.png">Floor 2</a>
Anyway, as for the battle itself, this one was hard, because one of my strongest Denjuu, Rex, hasn't evolved yet, and is only at Level 23, and the opponent Denjuu are from Level 35-42. The other two Denjuu I used, Parrotto (which is a secret Denjuu) and Chapmani, are at higher levels, and have type advantages, but are still at lower levels than the opponents are. Can they still be beaten? Well, with the help of special (or electric, or magic, whatever you want to call them) attacks, and items, it ends up being possible. I get bad luck at the beginning, where Chapmani faints, but the opponents still fall.
Oh, and Rex evolves after this battle. I wish this game had a more interesting animation sequence... it just evolves without any real animation. Even the original Telefang was more interesting when watching Denjuu evolve, even if it was blatantly ripped off of Pokémon's animation sequence.
Finally, 99% of the English text in this game is from a hack that I and some other people made. I'll link to the patch soon...
Now I hope people actually WATCH this video... O_o less Tags: keitai denjuu telefang 2 smilesoft natsume nintendo gba game boy advance Category: Video Games Views: 23 Comments: 0 Added: Sep 29, 08 By: Blaziken257 | | |
