3 simple tasks that tells you how good is your pool technician.
 - Your pump has a basket inside that has to be cleaned every time your pool is cleaned. By looking from the top of the pump lid you can see inside and check for leafs, sand or anything else that can clog the pump. The basket has to be clean so the water will flow easily trough the system and prevent you to spend hundreds of dollars repairing the motor or the whole pump.
- Take a look at the skimmer box (showed above), if the water is up to the middle of the skimmer box high the surface of the pool will be cleaner during the week. If the water level is on the bottom of the skimmer box the chances of get air inside the pump is big and your motor can be burned out, that means loose money replacing the motor. If the water level is above the skimmer box the surface will be dirty and your pool deck can have water damage by water leaking underneath it.
- The cartridge cleans the water of your pool with the action of all the chemicals used for this purpose. If you see bubbles coming out from your pool's jets, well there is a huge chance that your cartridge is dirty. A dirt filter means more chances of dirt water and a dirt water means higher chances of water transmitted diseases. You don't want that for you family, friends and yourself.
