Nestled between downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards, the Rose Marine Theater opened as opened as a movie house   more...in the 1920s and has operated under three names: the Rose, the Roseland, and the Marine Theater. When it was the Marine Theater, the theater presented Spanish language films to the North Side’s growing Hispanic population. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic places and is part of the Marine Commercial Historic District. Today, the theater has been beautifully restored to remember the legacy of this landmark while supporting our next generation of Hispanic artists.  less

London, Philips Simplicity Event, Tuesday 23rd of October – citizenM hotels and partner Philips showcased the citizenM hotel room on the High Street located on the Philips Simplicity Event. The annual   more...Simplicity event is a futuristic momentum for Philips to showcase its new concepts. This year, Earl’s Court 2 Exhibition Centre transformed to a dazzling platform for the concepts lighting, health and hospitality.

An actual prefabricated citizenM room was shipped overseas especially for the Philips Simplicity event. Centered in the middle on the High Street, a street where futuristic and contemporary products of Philips meet, citizenM hotels welcomed visitors to the citizenM room.

The décor built around the hotel room gave a stunning impression of the outside façade of how the first hotel will look like by Amsterdam Schiphol in 2008. Life size high resolution photos of the lobby living rooms decorated the hallway leading up to the room. Visitors could envision themselves sitting and relaxing or having breakfast after a well-rested night at citizenM.

1400 visitors came to witness the Philips Simplicity Event, hailing from different areas of expertise and interests. All were impressed and delighted about the arrival of citizenM hotels. Broadcasters from diverse stations filmed and interviewed the citizenM room to have exclusives on the Philips moodpad and many other functionalities of the citizenM room.  less
