 | | The Tragedy of Stray Cats 03:18The stray cat population in the U.S. is estimated to be approx. 70 to 100 million. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives. 95% of kittens adopted by people in the U.S. are the direct more...offspring of stray and feral cats. Visit any animal shelter and you will see the tragic consequences of cat overpopulation. These are just some of the hundreds of kittens and cats my friends and I have rescued over the last 5 years. We ALL can make a difference in the life of a homeless cat.

Lethal methods of controlling their population are outdated and inhumane. T-N-R (trap-neuter-return) is the most effective more...and humane method that works!
The stray cat population in the U.S. is estimated to be approx. 70 to 100 million. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives. But when neutered, returned to where they were trapped and fed on a daily basis, they can live very happy, healthy lives. It would be ideal to adopt out every stray cat, but unfortunately, statistics tell us that there are just not enough homes available to adopt all the existing stray cats. And, the animal shelters are overcrowded and underfunded, so their answer is to euthanize. Please don't breed and buy while homeless ones die.
