Waking up from a nightmare in the day
is more than
a misery.
The sun, it shines so bright,
bringing   more...death to life
for all to see.
If I cast out a spell
sending all pain to Hell,
would you weep?
And could you pull me on out,
just to push me back in,
when you really see
what lies within,
just beneath my skin?
It's me.


Telling time in the shadows of light
is truly
a masterpiece.
'Cuz one could lose their head,
counting moments like these
insensible things.
If I offered a pill
to cure all your ills,
would you thirst for me?

it's in the gleam of your eyes,
despite the words that may pass your lips.
You don't dare provoke
what makes you choke
when it's wrapped up in tenderness.
A wasted hour is death,
so   more...place your hand on my chest
to fill the depth of this torment.
I am built from within,

when I've lived without this?
