the Apollo class. past its prime, in the 24th century it was little more than a support frigate. with outdated phasers and a large compliment of torpedoes, it was meant to operate as part of a fleet.   more...when its alone it rarely has enough fire power to lower an opponents shield by it self so it can unload its deadly torpedo compliment. the situation this particular Apollo class finds itself in is far from ideal.  less

a romulan battleship squadron is ambushed by klingons from bellow (much to my suprise) with my fleet confused and out of ideal firing arcs, there was a genuine chance of a successful raid

as the entrprise limps back to earth, starfleet engineers finally decide to properly arm the vessels it launches. the minuteman class, a week away from launch, is delayed wile heavier plasma cannons are   more...developed. this new ship is launched about the time the enterprise finally returns to port. it is decided that the USS minuteman will go back to that system and claim it for earth. all intruders are to be destroyed. no one picks on the human race!  less
