walkin' ...

Just some short clips of the Spring thaw. In the first, the crackling sound is the slabs of ice pushing against each other. Unfortunately, the wind died down. It was a lot louder just before I started   more...filming. The water plants were on a ledge on the old set of locks at the Galop Canal (filmed last year, as well). I'm not sure what the blobby looking one is. they were round on one ledge and finger-like on the other. The Canada geese are forming up for their journeys Northward.  less

The Spring Peepers (frogs) are out and peeping up a storm. You can hear them over the car engine and road noise. In fact, although I had the window unrolled at this point, you can hear them with the windows   more...rolled up.  less

spring has sprung

The snow is nerly gone. Now when it is spring the nature is coming back. This is a nice time to take a break out door.
