Cindy's tandem skydive - 2006

3-way fomation skydive over Wonderboom Airport, just outside of Pretoria in 2001, the last time I jumped. Severe lower-back pains from an extraordinarily hard opening got in my way of continuing on a   more...recreational basis. The back self-healed after about 2-years, I'm still good to Go. and continue to day Dream of jumping from just above 102,800ft, passing a 48-year old record. I have faith that the project will come all in good time. Got spacesuit issues to resolve + test first/next.  less

I caved in a went for a second skydive, this time with my friend Ben from back home (who's working in sydney at the moment). This one was 2,000ft higher, which meant i had a longer freefall, and this   more...company let me pilot the chute for the whole decent, except landing.

Amazing video of a skydiving accident. They say that the accident put a strain on the airplane and it came close to crashing. Luckily though, everyone made it to the ground including the man who had the   more...accident.  less
