I found this before two different "Gallagher" specials on the same tape - "Over Your Head" (1984) and "The Maddest" (1983). I'm going to say this was 1986 when they taped   more...it, given the Robin Williams special these two Gallagher specials were contained with on the same tape.  less

My parents started the tape a little earlier on this video, which shows more of the Showtime Feature Presentation introduction. the logo is a 1973-1990 (An MCA Company byline) version of The Universal   more...1963-1990 "Zooming Globe" (I particularly hate the TV version of this logo). this version is silent (thank goodness!). I found this on my VHS copy of "The Great Outdoors."

I also have the same version of this logo with the opening chords of the intro to the movie "Opportunity Knocks." I would be happy to upload it upon request.  less

Jenny Schecter (as played by Mia Kirshner on "The L Word") is a character that is disliked by what seems like a lot of people who watch the show. I, however, feel she is the most relateable,   more...most realistic, and best acted character on the show. To me, this song represents her struggle with her own sexuality and with recalling suppressed memories of being rape as a young girl. The tone and rhythm of the music seem to fit with her so well.
