Little known facts: Universal Sound "Vector Outbound" is based heavily on the midi soundtrack found in the computer game "Decent". Decent was like doom only it used early (non textured) polygon graphics and you could control your character (spaceship) 360 degrees all over the place. It was a very hard game but once you got into it you were locked in tight. Ever since I heard this phat goa mix of the games sound track I've been trying to locate the full PC version of Decent but with no luck. I only had the share ware version which had the first ~8 levels. I then bought the Playstation version but it has a completely different sound track which sucks. If anyone knows where I can get the original full PC version of "Decent" let me know.

Now about the Kent Friedman & Hugh Sharpe track. Hugh Sharpe used to live in my friends apartment in Brooklyn and Hugh would often times write goa tracks with his friend Kent. The chances are pretty good the track you hear in this mix was made in my friends apartment. Unfortunatly I don't hear from Hugh Sharpe anymore which is a real shame because he was a pretty cool dude. He even played goa trance at a few Hullabaloo parties in Toronto. Also he played the basement room at Return to the Source at the Roseland Ballroom in ~1997 which was the best Goa party I ever attended! That weekend I bought some of the CDs you hear in this mix actually.

The last track by Bass Chakra samples Harrison Ford from the movie Bladerunner (hence the theme), unfortunatly you don't get to hear those samples in this mix.
