Winrad used to look at 40m CW first with the LSB filter then switched to the CW filter and centred on the carrier.

I use the Softrock TX/RX v6.1 and KGKSDR to view and listen to an AM intruder on 40m.
This signal has become a feature on 40m recently. It could be the local Medium Wave mast radiating harmonics of the   more...Pop Station.

It is the local Gold Station on 1.557MHz from the mast only 1.5Km away. I could not fit the maths. Then I thought of a recent change, my QRSS beacon on 10.14070 whic I have been running again recently. Now the maths fit.  less

Winrad used to take a look at 40m data and SSB signals.

Using 2 sound cards we feed the SDR signal into CWget to decode the received Morse.

One station sits tight within the filter passband,another LF of him spreads wide.

Softrock TX/RX v6.1 looks at 40m SSB during a contest. Some stations just think that if they over do the drive they will sound better and work more stations. Does spreading your power over 3 channels   more...improve readability or just make you unpopular.  less

Softrock v6.1 decoding PSK31 on 40m the display is closed to show the whole band. A creeping signal rolls down from the HF end. The display is expanded again Rocky carries on with a 100% decode under   more...strong adjacent signal interference.  less
