On October, 18th has taken place an official premiere of the film Resident EEvil Degeneration in Japan.In the USA the horror of films will take place a bit later - on November, 13th, at the New York festival.

In Japan it comes 10. October in USA 13. November , Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed the full trailer for the upcoming CG-animated Resident Evil: Degeneration DVD which is slated to arrive   more...in stores on December 30th.

The "Umbrella Incident" that took place in Raccoon City was ended with the eradication of the deadly virus by a missile attack ordered by the government. As its operations were suspended on a global scale, Umbrella Corporation stock plummeted. This serious blow to the business giant resulted in its complete dissolution. 7 years later, at an airport somewhere in the United States. An ordinary autumn afternoon. Resident Evil: Degeneration, known in Japan as Biohazard: Degeneration, is the first full-length CG animation feature based upon the Resident Evil series of games. It was announced by Capcom and Sony   more...Pictures Entertainment Japan on October 29, 2007. It is currently in production, with plans for a release in 2008.

While the film will feature a "brand new storyline", promotional footage states that the film will be set "7 years from Raccoon City" (the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis), two years after the destruction of the Umbrella Corporation seen in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and one year after the kidnapping of Ashley Graham (Resident Evil 4), placing it in the fourth quarter of 2005. The trailer implies that the film (or part of it) will take place in an airport terminal. Zombies are shown as overrunning the terminal and killing SWAT officers. The teaser included with the Resident Evil: Extinction DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases confirmed the appearance of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. [  less

Resident Evil: Degeneration Trailer #1 TRUE-HD

On January 1, 2008, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Resident Evil: Extinction on DVD, Blu-ray and PSP UMD, as well as the same day release of   more...the Resident Evil trilogy pack for Blu-ray. The third film in the series based off of the popular survival horror game slugs its way through a barren wasteland that was civilization. It will contain bonus materials and extra features, and will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $28.95, while the Blu-ray version will run for the MSRP of $38.96, and the PSP UMD will run at a modest $24.94. The Resident Evil Trilogy on Blu-ray will run for the MSRP of $89.95.
