This video is a compilation of footage I shot while recently teaching English in Shanghai. Though the urban cityscapes that often make up much of modern Asian mega cities often seem gray and brooding,   more...I noticed, when going back through the imagery, that almost every frame seemed to be alive with some trace of red, whether in the clothing that people were wearing or the flowers, signs, etc. Peter Gabriel's song Red Rain, therefore seemed a fitting compliment to the hustle, bustle and sometimes frenetic nature of modern inner city life in China.  less

well. this took me AWHILE to make. it took me 3 1/2 days, non-stop. =P i am very very happy with this result. i like...LOVE IT. xDDD and since this ish like...my BEST AMV, i'll probably enter it in alotta contests. xDDD

and don't say: 'this vid has too many effects', or something like that. it's one of those AMVs that are supposed too.

and i will probably NEVER use this song in any of my AMVs again. it wuz REALLY hard. xDDD and besides, u would'nt believe how many times WMM froze on me. i actually lost count. xP

A remake of my first Wolf's Rain AMV. I decided to do a version with the whole song, since I always regretted cutting out the instrumental breaks in my first draft. I made some slight tweaks and changed   more...a few of the clips, but more or less I stayed true to the original video. This also sets the record for my longest AMV.

This was meant to be a kind of closing theme for the show, with its focus on Kiba and his connection with Cheza (as well as how he deals with the loss of his friends before he gets to Paradise). If you pay attention to the lyrics this is a Christian song, but I always saw Cheza as a rather Christ-like character, so I thought it was appropriate.

Ever since the first time I heard this song it always reminded me of the Wolf's Rain soundtrack, because in a lot of ways the instrumental breaks actually resemble Yoko Kanno's music for the anime if you listen closely.

Is it original? No, not really. Do I care? No, not really. :P

My first compilation AMV, using Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (in that order). The Cowboy   more...Bebop clips are by far the worst quality of all three, but seeing as I got them off limewire, they're still pretty decent.

I tried to take my time with this as much as possible, because I have a tendency to rush projects in order to get them done as quickly as possible. However the amount of time you spend on a video reflects its overall quality, so I tried to take it slow.

What links these three shows together:
- Keiko Nobumoto, the author of Cowboy Bebop, also wrote Wolf's Rain
- Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, the voice actress who plays Lady Jaguara in the English Version of Wolf's Rain, also plays Motoko Kusanagi in the English Version of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

My first Wolf's Rain AMV. I was planning to do a more upbeat, action-centered video for my first with this particular anime, but I changed my mind about three times and finally decided to do this one   more...first. Besides, I'm better at slower songs (had more practice in that area) and I'd prefer to go the road less traveled.
