We have a little Kodak V570 & V705 get-together. I had no idea my videos would influence that many people into buying this wonderful camera. Kodak - you guys need to make a shorter camera &   more...eliminate the telephoto lens altogether. Put the microphone in the back, provide an LCD viewfinder on/off switch, and chamfer the front corners of the camera, so they fit the visor better.  less

In this video, I show a very fast and easy way to download videos from YouTube, using Safari, iSquint to covert the video to MPEG-4, and Quicktime to view it.

For those wondering how to do it from LiveVideo.   more...The process is pretty much the same. Follow the steps in this video. Instead of looking for Get_video, it should show up as an .flv file. Once you click to open it. Unlike with YouTube, Safari will open a page of text. The text is actually the flv file. So go to the Safari menu > File > Save as. You will then get a popup that says:

"The name “?????.flv” appears to have an extension. Do you want to append “.txt” to the name?"
Select: Don't append

Now you have saved the page aka the .flv. Just drag it to iSquint, and convert it to MP4 which will play in QuickTimes, or on iTunes or your iPod.

If you have a PC, many have pointed out that the flv files can be found in your internet temp files. You can find more info about that elsewhere.
