Still another tag....kinda

This is a poem I wrote a long time ago it is dark,but it was a dark time for me.
But all my poetry I still hold dear to my heart they all have a story within a story.

so this is my poem called "Reborn" that i wrote a while ago...i get embarrassed a lot about reading out my poetry so hope i did ok lol..also hope you all like   more...it :)

On Poets

These incomprehensible creatures
There are not a sufficient amount of words for them-
Colors are their madness and joy.

They make us leap, skip and sing
And still   more...cut us to the quick; sending all to darkness-
In tears we wait for our jailer to give us wings.

Verses slips loose as tongues of fiery verbs lay our souls exposed-
There is no rest for their loving hearts
Their pentameter holds true.

They dare us to ask for more and we turn the leaf-
We travel far to see the legends they sang of
We bury our dead to their pens stroke.

War has not stopped their voice-
Soldiers still march to their powerful cadence call
They brought calm in troubled times.

Compassion, love, hate and fear are their companion-
Our hearts and minds are their willing playground
All of nature’s beauty can not escape their accolades.

Give us wings you masters-
You brutes-
You friends-
You lovers-
You poets.  less

A World Without Locks

What a wonderful world it would be
If there were no need for locks so no one needed a key.

No locks would mean there was no crime
It would mean that no one would steal, so much as a dime.

Just imagine if you will no keys to lose
No locks to pick, No Locksmiths to choose

No need for car keys or house keys
I say good riddance to all those keys as numerous as fleas

The failings of mankind can be partly summed up by the very need for a key
But the need for a key will always most certainly be.

To merely push a button and start a car
Now THAT would be the sign of a society advanced far.

If a visitor to our planet saw my keys and asked What's That?
I'm afraid I would have to tell him, I'm sorry but your spaceship has just been jacked.  less

Imaginary Moment

Sudden surrender
escaping human form
I fly off the knowing ledge
into the unknown storm
falling free and feather   more...light
unfolding on the unseen wind
we all have space in heavens sight
i rise then i descend
spirit breath upon my being
i taste the universal light
acceptance of what i am seeing
fills my eyes with Creation infinite
I've gone agin
to the place i've been
forever from the start
I've touched agin
the one i've been
forever
in my heart....
