 | | Number One Sokkas Master 03:37[EDIT-Video has been edited] I have a new love of making videos with one episode! It doesn't take up alot of space on my laptop! And it get my creative juices pumping! Ok, we all have hopefully seen the more...new (And best) episode of Avatar right? Sokka's Master, 304? And I just had to make a video for it! The is from "Bleach"...it's kinda like the fight song in it, and I just thought it would work well with this. The song is actually much longer, but I cut alot out of it.
But come on, "Sokka's Master" was a great episode! Sokka's awesome new sword, buff Iroh, awesome fight scenes, buff Iroh, Piandao just rocked, buff Iroh, Sokka's centered episode, buff Iroh and oh yea buff Iroh!!!
I think I might keep making these one episode videos, and don't forget about my challenge people. See my main page for details....enjoy!! less Tags: avatar the last airbender sokkas master piandao number one fight song from bleach aang katara Category: Entertainment Views: 442 Comments: 0 Added: Oct 16, 07 By: Irishgal487 | | | | | Nightfall Avatar Season Three 05:36It's finally done. My tribute to the third season and all of its awesomeness--every single clip in this video came from Book Three, and I'm very, very pleased with the results. There's at least one clip more...from every episode included here.
The song is "Nightfall" by Blind Guardian, and some of you may not like it--the creator whose video I based this one off of said that it is an acquired taste, and I agree. It takes a few listens to gain a real appreciation, but once you enjoy it, you love it. I couldn't resist using this song for the season, as it fit so well and holds an epic feel of triumph and mythology that encompasses Avatar brilliantly.
This is definitely the video that I spent the most time and effort on so far--I sacrificed a number of clips for better ones, changed things around, and planned out almost every segment methodically. There are actually a few points where I deliberately softened the feel in order to make the follow-ups more impressive. The point of this video is to keep everything moving from beginning to end, without stop. I think I might have actually succeeded.
I've been working on this one for almost two months now, on-and-off, and I've finally produced my first post third-season music video. I started it the day before the finale aired and worked in spurts; some days I would work for an hour and get about ten or fifteen seconds in, other days I would work for six hours and finish a whole minute. Or thirty seconds. There's a five-second piece that actually took me about two hours to make, and I actually had to completely abandon the project for a few weeks when I got hung up on the musical interlude. Inspiration finally came, though (namely raven's latest video), and I started work again...finally finishing.
I kind of wish that I'd watched the finale more, but I'm pretty darn happy with the ending clips. I may improve later, though.
If you're still reading and haven't started watching, please, watch. If you already watched and are reading because you're interested, props to you.
Toph actually wound up getting a lot more clips than originally intended--which is still a horrifically low level. But Tiny Toph is worth quite a bit, so I think she's happy.
I have so much more to say about this, but I'm not going to...this thing is long enough. But you try working on a video for this long and putting in a short description. Mm.
Oh, plenty of credits to JimLad800! His Twilight Princess video to this song was the masterful inspiration and primary influence for this video--I'd say that he is probably the best vidder I've seen (no Avatar vids, but...Zelda's enough!). A number of my shots were directly referenced from his (guilty, but they ingrained themselves in my mind too well), so if you watch the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3h2_oYl76M ...you may pick up on a number of parallels.
I do not own the music. Blind Guardian does. "Nightfall" is the title. I do not own the clips. Viacom does. Avatar: The Last Airbender. What I DO own is the video. Don't redistribute on YouTube or claim it as your own--I didn't feel like putting my name in this one. Too many other clips to use. less Tags: avatar aang ozai katara zuko mai sokka suki azula iroh toph ty lee fire piandao sozin roku momo appa airbender Category: Entertainment Views: 2,006 Comments: 18 Added: Sep 5, 08 By: swan2swan | | | | | Sozins Comet Believe 04:33<b>Believe by Yellowcard</b> *EDIT* Okay, I'll warn you now, this is a very down-to-earth video - there are no effecs, so if you're expecting some flashy video with more effects than actual more...footage, you're going to be highly disappointed. The clips just naturally fit the song, so I didn't feel like I needed to alter them - just strategic placement and some speeding up and slowing down here and there. And just for the record, I don't put in effects just for the heck of it, I put in effects to make the video accent the musical elements of the song or to highlight a part of the clip that fits the lyrics. If I think the clips fit the energy of the song well, I won't alter them. Just because I have effects doesn't mean I'm going to use them. (actually, I have a LOT more that you guys haven't seen yet *evil laugh* ^___^) ANYWAY... on to the actual description:
Wow, the Avatar finale was seriously the most amazing piece of animation I've ever seen. It was so amazing, in fact, that it shattered my creativity block to bits and propelled me to make an entire video in less than five hours. I haven't done that in a long, long, LONG time! O.O This song just fit the finale so well, I only had to do minimal editing. If anything, I had to slow some clips down a little. Funny story about this one, though. I originally bought this song over the winter to make a Naruto video, but yesterday I was on the way to horseback riding and was listening to it and I realized that it is the perfect song for the finale. So I decided to scratch the Naruto video and do a Sozin's Comet one instead. Then today I finished capturing the finale and just sat down and made it. Now if only I could finish the 30-some other videos I'm working on that quickly... XD
I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender or Believe by Yellowcard. Both are property of their respective owners. This video is entirely fanmade and I'm not making any money off of it. less Tags: avatar finale sozins comet the pheonix king the old masters into the inferno avatar aang believe yellowcard aang katara sokka toph zuko azula mai ozai suki iroh pakku jeong jeong piandao Category: Arts & Animation Views: 1,239 Comments: 12 Added: Jul 21, 08 By: thexgrapexlives | | | | | An Avatar Commercial Break 02:33Bored and utterly fed up with the wait for new episodes or word of any sort, the Avatar cast has decided to follow Mai's lead and begin making their own commecials. During this commercial break, Katara more...ad Toph have a major disagreement, Mai does her own commercial, and Piandao takes certain viewers on a trip down nostalgia lane.
I had to tread fairly cautiously with some of the products--kids can't drink beer! So, that stuff is left to the adults. Three TV commercials, one radio commercial, one informercial. Enjoy!
The voice in Mai's commercial is Cricket Leigh, the girl's own voice. Just like before. I couldn't use it last time due to a lack of clips...but now, it works so well, it's freaky.
Sound clips belong to their respective owners. less Tags: mai aang zuko piandao avatar katara toph ozai zhao momo bud light miller lite marvin capital one sokka Category: Entertainment Views: 1,723 Comments: 60 Added: Apr 17, 08 By: swan2swan | | |
