Lo, a passerby tearfully weeps
Weeps through the panes of the dark

Raffish street   more...lights groan and cackle at moths and flys
A woman's banshee gait beckons and paws at yearning passersby
Arrant eyes now pierced by neon sirens
Igneous memories of other times--a spingier step, a lighter mind

Amidst the smells of charred meat and rotting flowers,
Cars sigh in minor chords--crooning smoky arpeggios
A darkness histoire--a Nyxian wail--an incantation to the night.

I wrote this piece in 2001, and my mother helped me name it. I now dedicate it to her, as she has passed on.

Got Happy? It is an amazing thing to be happy. But how do you know if your happiness is true? True happiness , as with love, is realized once you can let go of the thing that is the source of your   more...hapiness. If the object of your happiness returns to you, you can experience true joy in knowing that it was meant for you to have this thing that brought about happiness. For two days...I was without my music as my equipment (which is used to process ) was acting up. I was out of my regular sort (didn't know how to act). In that short time...after praying for a miracle (to put it lightly), I began to migrate towards other activities (which was not easy at all). But when I chose to let the music go free for that time...it miraculously came back to me (in the way of my equipment being healed....THANK GOD!!! ;) Hey...I just know that my stuff was working after almost being brought to tears about not having it to produce music. I then realized how "happy" I was to be back in the flow, back in my element, back to doing the thing that brings me passion ~ doing my music. This song is actually what came to my mind during this time. It was intended to be a "happy" song, but for you, let it bring you to happy times in your life (both in times past, as well as the happy times to come). Let this song serve as a reminder that being happy is a choice...a choice that needs to be chosen regardless of if you are dealing with things either within, or beyond your control. Being happy is within your control; choose it freely and wait for it to freely come back to you. It can become the strength you never knew you had....this is another show! We shall talk later! A new piano composition I came up with on my new digital piano. Kinda a bit darker sounding, with a touch of "prog rock" influence. I can hear lots of heavy bass, distorted guitar and thrashing   more...drums. Rawk.

I also went a bit "arty" on the vid editing lol.

Original music , no loops, used akeyboard to play into Garageband. composed and recorde in late Oct. 2006

I was doing some improvising at the piano to use for experimenting with my sound editor, and decided I like this one. It's mainly two chords, (sort of) B and C, with scales involving a lot of augmented   more...seconds. I do a lot of improvising, it's where many, but not all, of my written out ideas come from, sort of the free chaos from which the mind evolves order. Here I am in one of my more mystical, "snake charmer" melodic moods.

I thought about making this the first official post on my music channel, but I want to save that for my first sonata. I may keep posting my informal improvs here anyway.

I am beginning to get a sound I like, let's see what the processing does to it.  less

A classical composition I wrote a few years ago.

This one is a little bit different to my other classical compositions, as I am playing it with a backing track, when I wrote this piece the idea was to   more...have me play with a little Quartet, as I don't have a quartet handy, I thought I would play along with the backing track.

On the night of recording this (Friday 18th of July 2008) I had been playing about making stuff up at random for a couple of hours when I finally decided to record myself. I had only intended to record   more...for a few minutes, but before I realized it I had recorded a full tape (60 minutes). In these videos I've edited the 60 minute video down into 4 short videos where I believe the most interesting sounds can be found.

I took piano lessons for a year some 5 years ago, but then got too busy to continue because of school. I carried on playing about with the piano every now and then making up stuff at random as a way to relax. Up until the time of making these videos I had never recorded myself playing.

I was inspired by some musicians friends here in LV who have been very brave enough in posting there original songs and get good comments and views and i have one here i wrote last year but was canned   more...because we focused too much on covers and i thought maybe its high time for me to follow up our posted original song GO AWAY that we posted few months ago.
