The spot opens with more...a boy arriving at school on his bike who upon removing his helmet reveals his skilfully-animated “INFRO” (“info-afro”). Focus then shifts to a classroom where we see information from the blackboard entering the boy’s INFRO; graphics, writing and diagram. The hero is then depicted in various situations where we see his INFRO change and evolve, becoming an abstract visualisation of the child’s mind at work.
The spot expertly balances live action with stylish animation, no easy challenge for any director to overcome. “There [was] a fine balance between all factors…We never like the VFX to get in the way of a good performance!” comments Oates.
This spot geniously utilises complicated design elements and unique CG animation to depict the INFROs, making them appear “alive with possibility”. Oates manages to depict them as complex and intricate, whilst simultaneously easy to ‘read’, not in a literal sense, but as an object the audience understands from the beginning.
The TVC was shot with the actors wearing skull caps created as CG graphics as hair – a complex process that required Oates to call on his extensive VFX and creative experience whilst working in collaboration with The Lab less Tags: prodigy films dael oates commercial milo nestle Category: Entertainment Views: 17 Comments: 0 Added: Jul 8, 08 By: lnorden | | | | | Summer 1999 Nickelodeon Commercial Break 6 05:23Includes a Nick'sclusive segment about Kel Mitchell in the movie Mystery Men (and who knew he was also a rapper?) Research suggests that monosodium glutamate causes obesity, making unhealthy snacks even unhealthier than you may have suspected. But how does MSG cause obesity? Like more...aspartame, MSG is an excitotoxin, a substance that overexcites neurons to the point of cell damage and, eventually, cell death. Humans lack a blood-brain barrier in the hypothalamus, which allows excitotoxins to enter the brain and cause damage, according to Dr. Russell L. Blaylock in his book Excitotoxins. According to animal studies, MSG creates a lesion in the hypothalamus that correlates with abnormal development, including obesity, short stature and sexual reproduction problems.
Based on this evidence, Dr. Blaylock makes an interesting point about the American obesity epidemic, especially among young people: "One can only wonder if the large number of people having difficulty with obesity in the United States is related to early exposure to food additive excitotoxins, since this obesity is one of the most consistent features of the syndrome. One characteristic of the obesity induced by excitotoxins is that it doesn't appear to depend on food intake. This could explain why some people cannot diet away their obesity." As an increasing number of elementary school students bring snack-size bags of chips to school in their lunch boxes, the MSG-obesity link demands parental caution.
Instead of passively watching modern society become obese and then commenting on it, we need to change it at the start. That begins with you, the consumer. By avoiding foods with MSG, you are not only protecting your health and your family's health, you are also protecting society's health by not supporting companies that use MSG. Use your buying power to show that you don't accept manufactured foods that use MSG or any of the other hidden forms of MSG such as yeast extract, hydrolyzed vegetable proteins and autolyzed proteins. less Tags: monosodium glutamate zegee nutrition health wellness personal trainer exitotoxin obesity fda chicago new york miami atlanta los angeles denver report marion nestle health care msg Category: Science & Technology Views: 133 Comments: 0 Added: Jan 20, 08 By: zegee | | | | | Zegeecom What is Monosodium Glutamate MSG Health Dangers Part 3 07:24Visit http://www.Zegee.com for more information.
