Welcome to the Hood.

I live in Andersonville. It's the Swedish/lesbian neighborhood of Chicago. It's just north of Wrigleyville. It's nice. The main strip reminds me a small town Main street. Lots of restaurants, furniture   more...stores, well, just about any store you can think of. The street that's shown mostly is Clark which is a major street in Chicago. The beach is just a few blocks east. The people are pretty diverse, multi-ethnic. not too many artists, though.
I should have done this yesterday when it was warm. It was pretty chilly this morning. I want to tape more of Chicago now since the weather's nice.
I just got this Tortoise compilation, A Lazarus Taxon. It's 3 discs of music and a DVD. It's pretty good. Instrumental. pretty chill. I recommend it and that's my review.  less

After having spent some time at my desk next to the window of our apartment, the local squirrels became more brave. they would come right up and eat the trail mix i shared with them, even though my head   more...was only about a foot and a half away from them, these guys had no fear, and a lot of fun kicking each other's asses.  less
