Le fameux peintre en bâtiment en 2007, se bat encore contre les séquelles de son accident spectaculaire. Une électrocution   more...de 14,400 volts suivie d'une chute de 3 étages. Véritable Dead Zone, il revient avec un don de précognition assez étonnant, selon ses proches. Un peu bizarre, Alain cherche l'illumination entre la vie et la mort. Le fleuve St-Laurent est sa zone d'attraction, il marche avec sa canne et un léger sourire, normal! Vue la souffrance physique, qu’il endure depuis presque trois ans.
Le 19 septembre 2005, Alain J. Laurendeau peintre en bâtiment, marié et père de trois enfants est au travail. Il est 17h 35, il reste environ 5 petites secondes avant que se produise un événement extraordinaire.
Alain utilise une perche et un rouleau pour appliquer la peinture sur le toit d'un immeuble, pendant les secondes qui lui restent, il songe à sa fille Jessyca qui est à l'école secondaire tout juste en face de l'immeuble. Sa perche en aluminium de 4 mètres entre en contact avec la ligne de distribution du courant électrique de la rue. Alain est électrocuté par 14,400 volts. Le pauvre peintre voit son corps en feu, mais pas avec les yeux de son corps. Alain vie pour la première fois une décorporation, une expérience de mort imminente, se voyant s'éloigner de son corps, il voit un immense cercle de lumière qui s'ouvre devant lui. En quelques secondes, Alain se retrouve hors du temps pour expérimenter l'au-delà. Dans ce livre (La porte des saints) un livre rempli de lumière sur la vie, un simple travailleur victime d'un accident extrêmement mortel, nous dévoile le paradis et l'existence d'une vie après la vie. Cet accident lui fera prendre conscience, que la spiritualité est une réalité, ce qui le dirigera vers une quête profonde. Alain est sur le point de terminer d’écrire, d’ici quelques mois la suite de la porte des saints avec des faits et des révélations chocs, qui devraient changer bien des choses pour les âmes.
