I was feeling particularly lazy one day and didn't feel like cutting the grass, so I rigged up my mower to cut the yard by itself. 2 poles 8 inches apart so that every pass would pull the mower in 8   more...inches. When it wound all the way up, just move the poles and let it unwind in a new location.  less
