After I took Topaz to the vet, and gave her a bath, I did gardening.

Can you name the flowers that are in bloom in my garden? I will be adding more as time goes on. I love gardening.

I've been very busy with landscaping. I will be adding more flowers later on. I really love perennials.

Judith had asked for photos of the garden. These are some I took today. Unfortunately, because of all the rain in the last few weeks not only are the plants very "leggy" but the flowers are   more...somewhat the worse for wear.

I picked the last (or what I THOUGHT were the last) of the ripe wild strawberries which have spread across the lawn. Afterwords I mowed and there were hundreds of unpicked ripe ones squashed and mangled across the yard.

The flowers that you see (in no particular order) are Peonies, Explorer Roses, Anemones, Allium seed heads, Chives, Daisies, Mock Orange, Honeysuckle, Evening Primrose buds, Grape vines, and a rare wild Clematis which rooted itself in the garden (not in bloom until the end of the summer).  less

It has been raining heavily, as well as thundering steadily all day (little actual lightning). I thought I would show off my messy garden. I took some footage of my strawberries but I did it so quickly   more...that you actually saw more of my feet while I turned off the camera than you saw of the strawberries.  less

Liam so enjoys his time in my garden. He's a crack up he screams at the shovel and digs into it which digs the hole. It's very funny.

I've been gardening for many years. It's just a wonderful way to spend time. These are some seeds I've planted. Pumpkins, Carrots, and Asparagus beans.

I've planted many flowers, and some vegetables. I have Russian Tomatoes, and squash, and corn to plant still. I lost my one of my favorite flowers it's called a rock rose, the other one I need to replace   more...is a Bleeding Heart.  less

I live in a co-op. I have been gardening most of my life and NORMALLY my garden is full of plants and bushes, lots of colour. Many of the people in the co-op, the ones who tend to run things have the   more...idea that a "nice" garden consists of annual flowers arranged in a grid... 4 petunias and a marigold in the centre and complained that my garden looked "messy".

Last year, the co-op decided FINALLY to replace the fences that were falling over and had been since we moved in and to "fix" the siding on the houses. They took this opportunity to denude my garden of every tree, bush, and plant.

I am hoping that the rare wild clematis makes a recovery at the very least. My honeysuckle appears to be doing well. I can't say the same for the rosebushes, the Mock Orange, the Forsythia, any of my Peonies, or the chokecherry.

Thankfully, it looks as though this will be my last summer here.  less

I found my first tomato in my garden

I love gardening. I enjoy my chocolate pepper vegetable plant as well. It's fun to garden also because liam helps dig the holes as I shovel.

I added a rock rose, a Jacob's Ladder, and purple heather. I garden for the wonderful exercise, and it also removes stress.

This is a quick look at my garden. I was using my new Radio Shack (Yes, Radio Shack) handheld digital camcorder for the first time, so this was more of a test. I promise a longer, clearer tour in a   more...few weeks. Especially once the tomatoes start coming in. BTW, those banana peppers are delicious.
