An American in Paris is one of the greatest, most elegant, and most celebrated of M-G-M’s 50s musicals (filmsite.org). Legendary producer Arthur Freed developed   more...the film based on George Gershwin’s celebrated 1928 orchestral work, and assembled a stellar team of talents to bring forth what would become a landmark film. The plot revolves around ex-GI Jerry Mulligan (Kelly), a struggling American painter in Paris, who is discovered by an influential heiress (Nina Foch) with an interest in more than Jerry's art. Jerry in turn falls for Lise (Caron), a young French girl already engaged to a cabaret singer. Jerry jokes, sings and dances with his best friend, an acerbic would-be concert pianist (Oscar Levant), and romantic complications abound.  less

Well, actually, it's more of just the bad guys....

Jet has just graduated from college, earning a B.A. in English. Searching for somewhere to live, he finds himself on the Fire Nation territory known as   more...Avenue Q. When he reaches there, he finds the locals complaining about their lives--Zuko just got laid off, Azula can't find a boyfriend, Xin Fu and Yu are still trying to work out their partnership, Mai the Japanese therapist is upset with Zuko's unemployment, but someone's life is even worse than all of theirs.

Face it, these people all have issues in the series, and "Gary Coleman" probably has the biggest problem of all of them. Being dead and all....

The inimitable sound of singer Jack Jones is heard here singing one of his best known and loved
interpretations of "The Impossible Dream". The grand ballad from the broadway show, "Man of   more...La Mancha" was the perfect vehicle for Jones and was one of a few of his recordings that was able to climb the 'top fourty' charts as well as the 'Adult Contemporary field.
