Testing out a 'near-perfect' mirror code I made for mugen. It still has a few flaws with states & triggers, but I can't find a way around them.

Something that I wanted to do for the mugen community.

It's unreleased because of several reasons:
1 - Spikes do not actually do anything to the players, as there are no real universal stage interactivity   more...in mugen.
2 - Can't really compete with the other better quality stages available.
3 - It's only 1 BG layer, a very basic stage. Can easily be made by anyone.
4 - Did I mention no interactivity?
5 - Not really sure I am ready to get back into mugen, as I still have other things on my mind right now.
6 - Is it really worth a download to keep?  less

Fat Albert Vs. Evil Kung Fu Man

Evening fell over the secret hideout as Faust implemented the last containts needed to activate the construct's conscience. He called over all the clones; even the two guarding the entryway. This would   more...be a grand moment. Faust carefully stowed the structure into the mechanical orb and triggered it. All that's left now is to wait and see.

It opened its eyes. It saw a glimpse of reality. But then it was pushed into a fake one. The professor's experiment experienced its first thinking, and immediately recognized a series of commands and habits it never learned.

That's right. My internet was screwed up for a while. I got bored. When I get bored, I do shit like this. I play as Reubenkee's Dragon Claw.

Aside from being an orgasm to the eyes, DC has a surprisingly original way of fighting. He's the only character I know that has long, fixed ground and air combos (and boy, they're hard to do). DC has a series of lvl 1 supers, and chains them to give the impression of lvl 2 and higher. Each of those supers has an alternate version which is regularly triggered when three supers are chained together. However, there's also a 10 percent chance when a super is done normally.

DC is so fucking hard to use. The skill required to use him is relative to how high-tier he his, making his AI the worst abomination to ever befall any character. With all the crap that would otherwise be revolutionary, DC is stuck with the cheap label since his AI is as such. Marioandsonic was damn right to send that e-mail. On a side note, the readme implies that TMasta, POTS, Valodim, Aiduzzi and a crapload of other people were invloved in the DC project (mainly bugtesting, palettes and ideas), making it all the more a shame that DC is so frowned upon.

This video was recorded with hardware accelarators active, so the framerate is lethargic. I've been training with DC a while after making this video, and my skills are starting to take shape. I can already perform the kick combo on a regular basis and found a chain that triggers the Launcher Super's meta version. The slashing combo is still a bit too fast for me, let alone doing a flash step and a super immediately after. One thing I really can't be arsed to master is aerial raves.

Well, we skip up the tournament for at least 3 to 5 regular matches (one of them is a new member initiation fight). I Admit this, When i use mishio she can beat out even   more...the cheap chars around, so she is very easy to use, but now if i fight her well, she is tough i mean really tough. Evil KFM is KFM's evil mech clone of evil. Because beating Vice with the real KFM is impossible (for me), Evil KFM will have to be used instead.

I present you a match-up so lopsided that, on paper, it looks like a total loss for one side.

I play once again as ElecByte's Kung Fu Man, and I pit him against the elite Reubenkee creation, Dragon   more...Claw! Can old-fashioned martial arts defeat a show-off pyromaniac combo-whore character?

NOTES: KFM is COMPLETELY UNEDITED. Dragon Claw is also completely unedited. Once again, I had to play opportunistically, as KFM is such a low-tier character. On the second round, Dragon Claw had pretty much won that round, so I simply let KFM bite it. Dragon Claw may abuse his counters and evasions, but if you play extremely aggressive, you can break through and do serious damage to Dragon Claw using any character.

After several people noted that PotS Vega pulled a Favic in round three of the last match against KFM, I was planning for the rematch.

Here it is!

The big problem I have with PotS Vega is that his AI tends   more...to sputter. One round, he is going ballistic on you, and the next round, his custom AI turns off and he acts dumber than Homer trying to take the MENSA admissions test with brain damage. This time, I made sure PotS Vega's AI stayed in full brutal force. When I notice his AI was not activated properly, I hold back a bit and let it activate fully.

There are two matches: one where Vega's AI acts properly most of the time, and the other where he finally goes brutal from start to end.

Once again I recreate the environment of Favic's old video: KFM stage, no music and debug information. This time, I used the default lifebars to finally make a 100% accurate depiction of Favic's video. The only difference? Skill is involved. :P

I dunno if people waited for this. But here it is, and I got all the volume levels nearly equal.

Funnily enough, Guile was supposed to be in love with Mako, but then I discovered he had a kid, and possibly   more...a wife. So I changed his feelings.

I was going to have The Lord of Evil fight Hyper Zero, and The God of MUGEN but due to time constraints that was replaced with text. Damn 10 minute limit... Also, I forgot some effects while switching clips. Goes to show what happens if you leave it laying around for so long. :P
