After playing with Fiona, I decided to have her join my team... but only if she can defeat all my other members. This is part 1 on that video.

Well, I decided to put Stig87's Trunks on my team ^_^

For his initiation, he must beat Ssonic's Future Trunks.

Future Trunks(Ssonic)- This Trunks is VERY well made, but he's so well made he's cheap :P.   more...He has a total of 10 instant kill moves, that's right 10 INSTANT KILL MOVES. The supers that are "not" instant killers do INSANE damage, fill up the screen, and some of them are unblockable(those that are blockable do insane block damage). Even with all the basic DBZ cheapness this guy's got, Ssonic's Trunks is fun to play as(if used correctly) In fact, I might play as Ssonic's Trunks sometime to show how fun he can be...  less

After a long wait, Yoshi and Elena finally got a callback from Team Raiden Fighters headquarters. They requested to do a double initiation event against both prospective applicants at once.

Predator suggested   more...to Homer a great idea. Mario and Ryu have retired not too long ago from the Team, but they were still in town. Homer gave Mario and Ryu a call to do one last favor for Team Raiden Fighters by helping initiate Yoshi and Elena into the team.

The new recruits versus the legends...can Yoshi and Elena match skill to gain membership in Team Raiden Fighters?

It took me an extremely long time to finish so I hope you enjoy it.

Zero is now forming Team Dragonsword. The first applicant that appears is Cless Alvein (rainman). If Cless is victorious he shall become Team Dragonsword's Vice President

Setsuna(orochi herman) vs Setsuna([fraya])

For Setsuna's initiation, he must defeat yet, another(AND HOPEFULLY THE LAST) stolen version of himself. Like all of [fraya]'s creations, this guy is EXTREAMLY   more...overpowered. For this match I had to reduce [fraya]'s Setsuna's attack to 15, yes, 15 attack. Even at 15 attack he still does MAJOR damage(notice how much life I lost in the beggining of round 1).

Comparisons:

Orochi Herman's setsuna: Unfortuanlty, this version has a some what of a cheap AI. He counters a lot in inhuman ways and can use level 3 supers without needing any energy. But other than that's he's ok.

[fraya]'s Setsuna: This guy has some wacky specials. He can throw his blood at you and if you are hit, you can't block. He also has this "night" special. When activated, the screen turns pitch black so you can't see anything. He has different movements than Orochi Herman's Setsuna. This guy has 2000 life. He has a completely different voice, glitches sometimes and is NO WHERE near the cheapness of Sephiroth. This guy has a tough, but not cheap AI.

NOTE: I had to reduce the video and sound quality to make it under 100MB. I will use both Setsunas in future vids.  less

Kaede by "Zelgadis" plays very well. The three opponents I fight are Shiki Nanaya, Trunks and Kenshin.

And before anyone asks, no, Kaede doesn't have a lightsaber. -_-

This video marks two events in Team Draug:

- The initiation of the team's Cheap Buster, Lobo.

- The prologue to Oume's quest in order to train herself and get her rematch against Jon Talbain (check Seadragon's   more...Cup videos for more information).

So yes, Lobo the Last Czarnian has become the team's Cheap Buster. Let's talk about him and his first victim, Thin Nen, by Ihoo.

* Lobo by Buyog20099 is by far the best DC character you can find around. He isn't a cheesehead like Ice or Wonder Woman but he isn't lame either. Lobo's AI is quite tough, I must say.
Graphic wise, Lobo is an edit of Birdie, with some elements of Zangief and I also think of Cable. The edit is great and except for some facial expressions, it's 100% the Main Man.
Gameplay wise, Lobo is quite balanced for being a DC character with MvC gameplay. Maybe his only unbalanced move is the Big Fraggin' Gun (BFG) for both the number of projectiles it launches and the damage dealt by each one. But for the rest, his Frag Grenades can damage Lobo himself and his beer move won't always be good for Lobo.

* Thin Nen is one of the most infamous creations by Ihoo. This version combines both Thin Nen from Power Instinct and Power Instinct 2. Trying to make him accurate to both games, Ihoo ended getting a cheap bastard.
His priority is very high and his attacks deal more damage than even in the original games, where Thin Nen was already a high tier. But worst thing is that nearly none of his attacks can be blocked in mid-air and also he'll juggle you to death once he's cornered you.

The secret for beating him? Frag Grenades, kicks and the BFG. A pity I couldn't use the Main Man Airlines. I would have enjoyed running Thin Nen over with the SpazFrag. :P

That's right! I needed a few extra players, so I morphed all 4 initiation videos together into one Quadruple Whammy video! Each Team Member needs to spar off against an extremely tough opponent. My 4   more...new members are (In this order):

Superintendent: Haruhi Suzumiya by Choiya- I chose Haruhi because I play really, REALLY well with this character. Not as well as Ampchu or Marky, but I'm getting there. Also, I am a Haruhi fan.

Her opponent: Gold Mode Yoma. Yeah, she's pretty cheap, but after a while her moves get predictable.

Comptroller: Choi Bounge by H"- Choi is by far one of my favorite KOF characters. He's so obscure that it makes me laugh every time I play as him. Also, his AI's not too shabby, either.

His opponent: CHOUJIN-styled Lil' Gohan by Ninja_Naruto: I never thought that Gohan was this cheap in the anime... I can kind of tell that this character is a rough beta because it still has KFM's sound effects and KFM's deathcry. The only noticeable thing about this character besides the Gohan sprites is the Masenko-Ha sound effect, which, by the way, the character will use every chance it gets.

Supervisor: Cutman by Excursion- His supers are a little hard to activate, but overall this is one good MvC Megaman-styled character.

His opponent: General by Diego Sanches: Now, I'm pretty sure he's meant to be cheap, because he's the final boss from one of those Megaman X games, but he's still cheap nonetheless. My advice: AVOID THE ENERGY BALLS. Those things do ridiculous amounts of block damage. Also, he's got big-ass lazors that take up the entire screen and do large amounts of damage normally, but do absolutely no block damage. Also, I don't know what I was doing in the first round, so forgive me if I did a few stupid things.

Swordsman: Kyle Dunamis by rainman- Every team needs at least 2 swordsmen. At least that's my philosophy... Plus, when put into the right hands, Kyle can be one tough customer.

His opponent: Instead of treating you to a shitty Neo-Sonic battle, I'm going to fight one of Toma's characters that's harder to find, but equally as cheap as the rest of the other creations: Dialog. Yes, the infamous pop-up window that will not go away now mattter how much you click the X. It's pretty cheap. It parries, it has infinite priority (then again, what doesn't), along with various other things that can piss one person off.

Time for a new initation... This time, we have no one but Rasputin... Not the mad monk of real History, but the crazy wizard from World Heroes - oh, well, they're nearly the same thing. xD

The version   more...of Rasputin I use was made by Mouser and you can find him at Random Select. This Rasputin stays quite true to his source game, World Heroes Perfect in this case, but has some little additions, like he is a bit faster and his Secret Garden can be used thanks to the energy levels, not waiting for him to have low life. Anyway, he still has his HERO bar and those Japanese sentences below the life bar, like in the Japanese version of WH Perfect.

And for his initiation, I thought of a wizard character... and after checking... who's the best wizard in Mugen? Kamek, the Magikoopa, of course.

I think Kamek needs no introduction, right? :P

Ths video was recorded using CamStudio. There's no banner like it happens with the trial version of HyperCam, the image quality is better and desync is no more, but the framrate is a bit lower. Maybe I could stick with this, I don't know...

Next vid will be Oume's initation... or well... I don't know if I can call it an initiation... You'll have to wait to see it and know what I mean with this.

Time for another initiation video! And this time is for Dan Hibiki, in his Phantom of the Server version.

As a challenge for Dan, I went for something a bit original: pit him against versions of himself   more...made by other people. So that's why all the fighters here are... DAN HIBIKI!

- Dan by P.o.t.S. is the version I'm using in all the videos. In my opinion, this is the best version of Dan for MUGEN, a very complete one. Nearly everything from every game Dan has been is in P.o.t.S.'s version, along with some new things. That makes this Dan unique.

- Dan by R. is the least interesting of all the versions in this video. He isn't as tough as the rest of them, but this Dan is quite decent. A pity his voice is too low.

- Dan by Warusaki. Another CvS fighter and a pretty good one. Although I prefer Warusaki's Ryu and Ken, this Dan is a good character for fighting with and against him. In this video, he's using the N groove, but I'm sure he's more of a challenge in the EX one.

- Dan by Tatsu. Now this is an interesting Dan in the way that he's heavily based on the SvC Chaos Dan. But he also has some details that make him a bit more different - he even has an SNK-ized version of his run animation in CvS -. Quite tough sometimes and a pretty good choice as a character too... still, I still prefer P.o.t.S.'s Dan.

I think you all know which one got initiated. :P I'm not sure what I should do with Another Iori yet. He's been a potential retiree for a while but that cloak gets me. I love the cloak. XD Also, he's   more...my fourth ever team member. So many memories of horribly failed survival runs with him, and Benimaru as a team. No matter how I set it up we'd fail spectacularily. But it was fun seeing our bad luck. For some reason my roster doesn't like Iori, and Benimaru working together. @_@ I may use this Stage, and music again soon. It's perfect for a Benimaru, and Iori Survival run. The song makes it perfect. "We got together the wrong way". Man I love that song. Not as much as some of the other songs.

Bleh, too much babbling. >_> Back to the match, a requirement I set up for my team is that they have to be able to beat Alex. But when I decided that I had already had five members. So I decided to see if they were up to that standard. This is the reason Alex is in red. Not an official member of the team so hardly any black. If I make the doomkitties a branch I'd stick them in blue. Official members mainly wear black. Unfortunetly Iori's palette screws that up. So he's kinda half, and half with some white tossed in. >_> Oh well. At least his shirt, eyes, and jacket aren't all tied into each other like with Benimaru.

I'm also changing Iori's name to Iori or Iori Yagami, the 71113 bugs me.

Yes, you read right I'm ending TEAMx3 season 1.
Season 2 should start up around september 13 on my birthday. TEAMx3 has been observing the most recently updated Kohaku by mugen9 and decided to test her   more...to see if she's TEAMx3 material.

The test: (1v4)

She has to face four tough characters and who can't be any tougher than the team itself. The team is arranged from weakest to strongest with Ciel being the weakest and Shiki Nanaya being the strongest. Also, Kohaku's attack is cut in half to lower the handicap.

At the end, I place a preview of the season 2 opening

Mario & Luigi fight against Bowser for a chance to join Team Smashbros2000

Now it's time to see if Arina is really a good choice for Team Draug.

Instead of making her fight four foes - one per round -, Arina will have to face two fighters... at the same time! Those fighters will   more...be Fervicante's Mudman - now a member of Team Draug - and Warner's Homer Simpson.

It must be said: this match is way harder than Mudman's test, and that's because Arina, as a player's choice, isn't as strong as Mudman. Fortunately, if you know how to use her, she becomes an extraordinary fighter.

The background is the alley from Kizuna Encounter, and the music you hear during the fight is "Power Field", Kraft's theme in Rockman Zero 4. Once again, the music from the beginning is "Neo Arcadian March" and the one in the end is "Result of Mission III", both of them from Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero: Telos.  less
