Sam, my Black Cat, outside on her harness and leash, savoring the summer breezes, warm cement, and neighborhood noises. When she was younger she'd try to get off the leash, and succeeded a few times.   more... Now that she's older, that doesn't happen so often.
She gets "crabby" staying in the house all the time: fights with the other cat or does naughty things around the house trying to get attention. These days I put her outside when I notice she's getting restive.
This clip was filmed right after Sam was diagnosed with feline mammary adenocarcinoma on July 23, 2006 and she was 8-1/2 pounds. To see how she looks today, see Summerrose's video "Sam the Black Cat on the Back Patio", taken October 10, 2007.
