Believe the hype: the ferocity, intensity and control of their technique is extraordinary. Their energy, impeccable timing and the passion that comes through their music makes them the most exciting and intoxicating live acoustic performers on the planet.
Together create an electrifying sound. I just found out about them a few months ago and from the first notes I was impressed, a fresh style I am very proud that they are Mexicans; too bad that most of our National Talent has to go abroad to make it big. I hope you enjoy my version of “Diablo Rojo”l. Red Devil was inspired by a rollercoaster in Mexico City called Diablo Rojo.

"1001 Arabian Nights"
The main frame story concerns a Persian king and his new bride. The king, Shahryar, upon discovering his former wife's infidelity had her executed   more...and then declared all women to be unfaithful. He begins to marry a succession of virgins only to execute each one the next morning. Eventually the vizier cannot find any more virgins. Scheherazade, the vizier's daughter, offers herself as the next bride and her father reluctantly agrees. On the night of their marriage, Scheherazade tells the king a tale, but does not end it. The king is thus forced to keep her alive in order to hear the conclusion. The next night, as soon as she finishes the tale, she begins (and only begins) another. So it went for 1,001 nights.
The tales vary widely: they include historical tales, love stories, tragedies, comedies, poems, burlesques and Muslim religious legends. Numerous stories depict djinn, magicians, and legendary places  less

"THERE WERE DAYS, IN THE EARLY SIXTIES, WHEN I LITERALLY COULDN'T GIVE MY WORK AWAY! LATER I WENT ON TO HAVE FIVE ONE-MAN SHOWS AND WON NUMEROUS AWARDS AND ONE VERY SPECIAL HONOR, BUT THAT IS ALL HISTORY; I AM CONCERNED WITH THE HISTORY I HAVE LEFT!
I HAVE BEEN A PAINTER, BUT NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER(!), FOR APPROXIMATELY 44 YEARS. IN THE LATE SIXTIES AND EARLY SEVENTIES I DEVELOPED A TECHNIQUE I CALL "MOSAICISM." (BTW, I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS AN ORIGINAL CONCEPT, BUT SOON LEARNED THAT THE AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINES HAVE BEEN PAINTING LIKE THIS FOR HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS, OF YEARS!)
I PAINT THE CANVAS BLACK, USING ACRYLIC PAINTS, AND APPLY SMALL DOTS OF COLOR USING A BRUSH THAT I SPECIALLY ALTER TO DO THIS TYPE OF PAINTING. I TRY NOT TO LET THE DOTS TOUCH, OR HAVE TOO MUCH SPACE BETWEEN THEM. MY SUBJECT MATTER VARIES FROM QUILT PATTERNS, CATS, NOAH AND THE ARK, BONSAI, ABSTRACTS, AND THE USE OF MIXED MEDIA, SUCH AS PRECIOUS STONES, BEADS AND COSTUME JEWELRY WITH MY DOTS.
I AM VERY PROUD THAT MY WORK HAS FOUND A PLACE IN ALL TYPES OF COLLECTIONS; FROM A FARM HOUSEWIFE TO AN ATTORNEY WHO ARGUED AND WON A CASE IN FRONT OF THE U.S. SUPREME COURT, FROM A UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR TO A INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION. ONE OF MY PAINTINGS APPEARED IN THE MAY, 1998, ISSUE OF QUILTER'S NEWSLETTER MAGAZINE"
