My Karura tribute

Yes, the title is somewhat ironic, I made it that way on purpose. The anime is Utawarerumono, and the song is If Everyone Cared by Nickelback. THIS IS A VERY SPOILERIFIC AMV, for anyone who cares. The   more...theme of this video is complicated, it's partly an outline of the plot and profiles some of the characters, but it shows both the joy and sadness of Hakuoro's world. The lyrics to this song fit perfectly with the series, and the theme is the overlying question of what the world would be like if there was peace. This is my first completed AMV to this particular anime, and I plan on entering this in the Anime Boston 2009 AMV contest. I did most of this in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum but I got the free trial of Vegas Pro and did a few brief masks with that. I think I'm going to buy the program. I want to learn masking, it's very tedious and time consuming but it will be worth it. And livevideo wrecks the quality, I just want people to know that. It looks better in it's original form.  less
