I've been getting some haters lately. I hadn't really gotten them in a while. I got a bunch for my lonelygirl parody and my geriatric1927 parody (his fans are really hard-core). I actually was afraid   more...to read my comments for a while because they used to bother me. I don't really get too upset anymore, mostly annoyed.

okay, I'm still learning how to learn stuff...huh??? I mean to edit video and shit. yes, and shit. Basically, yesterday I bought a Tim Buckley anthology and this tv show 'Voyage to the Bottome of the Sea' which is a pretty cheesy 60s show but I like it.
I know recorded the top of the tv at some points and it really doesn't make any sense.
I'll try to make some better ones next time.  less

Krista was telling me she was painting a llama, so I of course thought that was the coolest thing. So, yes, I ripped off her idea. I'm also going to paint this llama into my big canvas. I wish I made   more...the background an earthtone. I did copy from a picture. yeah, I suck, but I wanted it to be realistic. It's not as fun copying, though. I'll get back to tanks and robots.
Another Sea and Cake song off 'Oui.' I like all their stuff. It's all pretty mellow like this. I recommend all their albums.  less

'Paris, Texas' starring Harry Dean Stanton. You know he's 86 and still smokes and gets drunk all the time. Anyway, the movie had some beautiful shots, but man, it's one of those movies that's 30 minutes   more...too long.
this is 'Drifter in the Dark' by Ween off 'Chocolate and Cheese.' I love Ween. They have some great songs, but also some ones that make you hit the skip button. This album is very much like that. uuhh...I'd recommend it, though. maybe, mmm....no, I might wait on it. that's my review.  less

okay, the visuals are from 'Alone in the Wilderness' which PBS always shows. It's one of my favorite videos. It's about this guy Richard Proenneke who at age 50 quit his job and went into the middle of   more...nowhere in Alaska and built a cabin and lived the rest of his life. And he filmed it.

okay, a couple years ago I saw the J.Davis Trio here in Chicago. I was pretty blown away. It was like a combination of rap and jazz and it wasn't the mundane gangsta rap, it was clean and he was wearing   more...a suit.
I love 'Samurai Jack.' I did think maybe some kung-fu would go well with the music, but I don't really have any, so anyway 'Jack'. The animation is one of the things I love about the show.

I put some enamel down for the base color. I really like enamel. It's nice and glossy, but sticky and messy. I need some more white markers. That's the bad thing about them, they kind of dry quickly.

This is the band Hum singing 'Green to Me' off of their 'Downward is Heavenward' album. This album rules. I listened to it a bajillion times in college and it still rocks. I recommend it if you like the indie rock.  less

I have a bunch of burned DVDs, too. A lot of John Carpenter movies.   more... I love John Carpenter movies.
Favorite movies: I like the Harry Potter movies, Star Wars, the Alien movies, zombie movies.
You know the thing to do is get the DVD burning software and get Netflix and just burn all the movies you like. You would save a ton of money.  less

I live in Andersonville. It's the Swedish/lesbian neighborhood of Chicago. It's just north of Wrigleyville. It's nice. The main strip reminds me a small town Main street. Lots of restaurants, furniture   more...stores, well, just about any store you can think of. The street that's shown mostly is Clark which is a major street in Chicago. The beach is just a few blocks east. The people are pretty diverse, multi-ethnic. not too many artists, though.
I should have done this yesterday when it was warm. It was pretty chilly this morning. I want to tape more of Chicago now since the weather's nice.
I just got this Tortoise compilation, A Lazarus Taxon. It's 3 discs of music and a DVD. It's pretty good. Instrumental. pretty chill. I recommend it and that's my review.  less
