A sample of the questions from the interview: How do you deal with it when public opinion polls are stridently more...against the [Iraq] policy?
But in all cases, they did question themselves. In all cases, they said, well, let's look at it this way. Don't you? I mean the question is, don't you ever say, maybe I'm wrong?
In retrospect, you would still go into Iraq?
Does it pain you when Brent Scowcroft says this is not the Dick Cheney I knew?
Wouldn't you like to be liked?
OK, let's go back. On this program, May of 2005, you said the Iraqi insurgency was in the last throes. Why were you wrong?
In that same interview, you said that the Iraqis were well on their way to being able to defend themselves. Why not? Why are they gone?
To which branch of government do you belong? Are you executive or legislative, or both? We were a little confused over recent statements that you're not in either.
We have an op-ed piece by Walter Mondale, a former vice president, who held your job. And at that time, I guess, up to that time, he would be considered the most powerful vice president. He wrote that: "After 9/11, Cheney set out to create a largely independent power center in the Office of the Vice President. It was an unprecedented attempt not only to shape administration policy, but, alarmingly, to limit the policy options sent to the president."He also accused you of having "a near total aversion to the notion of accountability." How would you respond to that?
Don't you think this administration has also had its credibility problems?
Alberto Gonzales. Do you stand by him?
You're going to stand by him? No doubt about that?
In that regard, "The New York Times," which is -- as you said, it's not your favorite paper, reports it was you who dispatched Gonzales and Andy Card to then Attorney General John Ashcroft's hospital in 2004 to push Ashcroft to certify the president's intelligence gathering program. Was it you?
The "Scooter" Libby trial, did it pain you?
The Senate Judiciary Committee is subpoenaing Karl Rove in connection with the firing of federal prosecutors. Why shouldn't he appear?
But the public might say, what have you got to hide?
So he -- so he [Rove] will not appear?
General Powell says he would close Guantanamo yesterday. Would you?
You have to torture them when they're there?
How come in the past though there's been a question on that?
Have you ever said, "We support certain methods of physical harm"?

But certainly I was involved because I was a big advocate of the Terrorist Surveillance Program, and had been responsible and working with General Hayden and George Tenet to get it to the President for approval. By the time this occurred, it had already been approved about 12 times by the Department of Justice. There was nothing new about it.

He’s truthful; he’s caring, and smart... a true American... that should be the President. Jon Stewart is truly an accomplished man; a mere cable show comedian is 100x more intelligent than the president of his country; Interview with Jon Stewart and their discussion on why so few Americans really pay attention to the war in Iraq and what a draft would mean as to people paying attention to it. Here we see him try to claim that the Constitution doesn't grant people the right of Habeas Corpus. Powerful information exposing U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales Please Google this (Alberto Gonzales pedophile) you will find suppressed information about the charges against this bastard it’s shocking and disgusting. If a citizen pulled that in court, the judge would charge them with obstruction. They should've arrested him on the spot!
Sarah Taylor makes a Freudian slip which should help to explain much of the dynamics of the Bush Administration.
Sadly the mismatched young lady is willfully lying about her knowledge of Tim Griffin's and the RNC caging scheme...which will ultimately lead to the imprisoning of Karl Rove. Karl Rove and the RNC needed Federal Prosecutors to investigate and prosecute voter fraud so as to validate the nation wide caging scheme. Those prosecutors in certain states who were not able to find grounds for voter fraud were fired by the Department of Justice on behalf of Rove and the RNC. But does anybody notice or care? NO! And what about Greg Palast obtaining Rove's emails that expose them planning on throwing the 2008 election, no on noticed that either! Google: "Greg Palast has Rove emails"
Tough questions for a Lying Criminal.
Interesting to note that the lying criminal resigned.
Question is, will the lying criminal who appointed him appoint another lying criminal.
David Howell Petraeus is another water boy for the lying criminal president. He is a general in the United States Army and commander of Multi National Force—Iraq (MNF-I), the four-star post that oversees all U.S. forces in the country. He ought to be charged, tried and hung for High Treason.
Every objective observer knows what Petraeus was going to say. Fact is - Iraq if FUBAR! There is no military solution for a political disaster.
I’ll tell you what is Treasonous:
1. Selling a war to the American public based on false premises 2. The destruction of Habeas Corpus 3. Extraordinary renditions and Torture that raise the probability of our Troops being subjected to Torture if Captured 4. Putting party and partisanship above country time after time again 5. Stifling dissent and labeling those who dissent as being unpatriotic 6. Putting special and corporate interest ahead of public interest and the dereliction of duty.

Comey, who was Acting Attorney General during the March 2004 surgical hospitalization of John Ashcroft, refused to "certify" central aspects of the NSA program at that time. The certification was required under existing White House procedures to continue the program. After Comey's refusal, the newspaper reported, Andrew H. We have shown numerous times, and do again more...here, that the videos showed the impossible when they showed a plane starting to come to the west side of wtc1 before sneaking around back.
This video shows that the interlacing artifacts appearing most dramatically in the port wing were not part of the original broadcast, but were, in fact, carried over from wherever the video of the plane came from; there are two sets of interlacing artifacts.
Voice over is the discussion of the amount of material destroyed and a brief sound bite of ashcroft confirming that hitting a building with a plane is nearly impossible. less Tags: 911 911 september 11 abc wtc1 wtc2 ua175 joe craine inside tv fakery crime ashcroft job epa air quality lied asbestos Category: Science & Technology Views: 176 Comments: 0 Added: Aug 25, 08 By: JoeCraine | | | | | Win a trip and tickets to see The Verve in New York City! 00:30The Verve is coming to the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden on April 28 and they're hooking one lucky winner up with VIP tickets to the show and a trip to New York City for two!
