In the Spring of 2000 my ex and I made a trip to New York City. It was a remarkable trip. It was my first extended stay and I was thoroughly impressed by the feeling it left me. I saw people of every   more...race, hue and gender all literally rubbing shoulders with each other on the sidewalk, and the feeling I got from them was that the optimism and dreams of the one who visits or is born in America were still very much alive. It was the first time I ever felt such a large sense of international unity and cooperation. I have visualized it but had never really felt it until I visited New York.

I remember meditating on the eighth floor of our hotel room in mid-town on the last day of the trip. I know it sounds so weird, but do you remember that film Close Encounters of the Third Kind? (See it kids, if you haven’t…) Remember the huge Mothership at the end of the film? (No, I’m not ruining anything…) During my meditation, I found myself visualizing that there was a huge mothership over the city of New York. It represented some kind of conglomeration of peoples and beings from different solar systems who were here to observe us and to help to influence us as we go through our leap into the next age. They are here to help us to work together and to keep things in perspective. Maybe it was the sense of comfort and friendliness that I felt there then, from EVERYONE…I just remember looking up at the sky and just knowing there was one up there, and that one day, when we understood who we really are that
they would reveal themselves, connect with us visually, and help us to continue to evolve to become true responsible inter-planetary being, ready to travel solar systems.

This followed me for weeks. I got back to LA and was kind of depressed for the next couple of weeks because the feeling is so different there. It too is quite international, but it’s SO spread out and such a car city, you can go for days without actually talking to anyone. I did manage to take some time one weekend however to sit, reflect, hold on to that feeling of brotherhood and peace, and began to do some writing. Before long I was channeling this song.

This music video is meant to convey the feelings, messages, affirmations and possibilities from my NYC meditation, my Eight Story Bliss. Thought is consciousness and carries energy. We are so bombarded with negative images, it is easy to get bogged down and find ourselves creating even more negativity with out thoughts. I have been asked to keep producing affirming images and videos. I wanted to produce something on the importance of thinking constructively…something to help me hold the focus. God knows some days I need it. I hope you like the song and the theme.  less
