My wife's uncle plays a tune for me at my 30th birthday bash. Hooray!

I found this song on a disc containing a bunch of songs used in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and upon listening to the whole thing, found it fit Katara very well. She's often the heart of the group, providing   more...her strength in times when Aang cannot. Katara is a very wonderful character, even if she's not one of my favorites, and she is actually very deep if you give her more than a two-second glance.

Let me say this ONCE: This is supposed to be NEUTRAL SHIP. Meaning the scenes with Aang, Zuko, and Jet are for NON-ROMANTIC PURPOSES. Katara's not just a sex doll to throw at all the boys, y'know. She has a character of her own. As much as I lurv Kataang, I wanted my Katara tribute to be ship-free.

The view from my office is of the Department of National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa, and the flag atop its roof. For more days than I care to remember, it has been flown at half-mast in memory of   more...our soldiers who have died in Afghanistan. This video could have dwelt on ramp ceremonies and coffins draped with the Canadian flag. Instead, I hope I have paid tribute to our fallen soldiers by showing that the Canadian soldiers are making a difference in the lives of the people of Afghanistan. God bless them all for the selfless job they do.
