There would not have been NEAR the damage had he approved it.

In the UK Oxfam, (the Oxfam fund for famine relief),do almost all their
work in the developing world. I applaud this video but the US Federal
Government should be ashamed that it had to be made---
This is a disgrace. President Bush should hang his head in shame
along with Mr. Fat-Money Cheney.
Aug. 25, 6:30pm Katrina hits Florida (Cat 1).

Aug. 28, 12:30pm Bush was warned "...whether the levees will be topped or not, that's obviously a very, very grave concern." Asked no questions.

2005 Aug. 28 Mayor Nagin tells CNN "as soon as the levee systems
are breached, there will be a tremendous amount of water, anywhere
from 15 to 20 feet of water in some parts of New Orleans." Orders
mandatory evacuation.

Sept. 1, 7am Bush: "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the
levees."
The Levees are in the control of the Army Corps of Engineers. That's the
FACTS. It was the national government's job to secure NOLA.
