This is the second installment of my Phtoshop demos/tutorials where I show y'all the fun of just creating somthing from scratch in this wonderfully versatile program. In the local art community I am   more...mostly known for my humorous paintings of cats, and sometimes, when teaching a client how to use photoshop as a painting tool, I'll whip out one of my cats as a quickie demonstration. This is one way to do it starting with a monochrome gray image, then adding color to taste. To run in the time allotted I had to speed the video up a notch, but the process is still pretty fast and gobs of fun.

This is my guinea pig Rex. He is a beautiful Abbyruvian. An Abbyruvian is a cross between a long-haired Peruvian and a curly haired Abyssinian. He has long hair on the back half of his body while the   more...front half is short, but he has curls or rosettes all over him. Because it has been so hot, I clipped his long hair and he is much more comfortable. He is 6 months old and I love him very much. He loves carrot, grapes, mung bean sprouts and parsley as well as his other guinea pig food which we buy from the breeder where we purchased him. He doesn't really like cucumbers, but our other guinea pigs do. I put a special harness on Rex and then we go outside so he can eat lots of fresh grass. I have to be careful because we have snakes, kookaburras and other things that might be dangerous for Rex. I never leave him by himself unless he is safely in his cage. I was going to breed Rex with my two albino females, but I since found out that it is probably more kind to rescue guinea pigs from a sanctuary than to breed any more. What do you think? Rex cost $15 which was one of the more expensive ones but he is worth it. My two albino girls cost $11 each. One is a Himalayan - white with a brown nose, ears and feet while the other is pure white. Both have pink eyes. What do you think about breeding them to Rex?
