A DX Contact!!! See me make contact with a Russian amateur station. With a little luck (20 meters was pretty much shut down at this time) I was able to make the good DX contact. Hope you enjoy!!!

The tower monkey is my brother Tim KE5CFZ..We both work for a ham radio store called Kcomm here in San Antonio, Texas..One of the enjoyable things about our job is that we get to go on field trips, installing towers, antennas as well as removing antennas & towers..We also do mobile radio installs both at the store as well as in the field..

http://www.kcomm.biz Here are some pictures on an Icom IC-7000 that was recently installed in a Toyota Avalon..The head was remoted on the dash using a Yaesu MMB-62 mobile mounting bracket..The radio   more...was set under the front passenger seat..We used a Jetstream JPST10 for an external speaker..The speaker was mounted in front of the passenger front seat..The antennas were Workman mono band sticks..The support for the antennas is a Tram NMO trunk lid mount, which used a NMO to 3/8" adapter..The system was checked out & everything worked fine..The customer was happy..Thanks for viewing..73, Mel WA5UTK  less

Winrad used to look at MT63 or another multi tone data mode and PSK31 on 40m. Four PSK31 contacts are occupying less bandwidth than the one multi tone signal.

Softrock TX/RX v6.1 with KGKSDR slowly tunes across the 40m contest stations on 3rd Nov2007 using a LSB filter.

Some 30 years ago this picture was received from Venezuela on early SSTV. Then no home computers could handle the speed needed to display the picture, no re transmitted using modern software MMSSTV.
